Title: God Calls Us
Content: God who calls us (Romans 8:28-30)
The reason there is yesterday and today, and today and tomorrow is because God is calling His chosen people, nurturing them, and making them grow. In other words, he predestined, called, justified, and glorified those who would be saved so that they would resemble the image of Jesus and nurture them as the people of the kingdom of heaven. When this work is finished, the revolution and rotation of the earth will come to an end, the sun will fall in the sky, and the sky will be rolled up like a paper and disappear from nowhere (2 Peter 3:8).
In Romans 8:28, it says that God does not leave those who are called to participate in salvation no matter what happens to them while they live in the world. When we think about health, success, and pleasure, we think of sickness, failure, and hardship a little bit, because humans are so short-sighted that they cannot see far. But God sees our daily lives. I look forward to the day when we will be seated together as the people of the kingdom of heaven, who will neither decay nor fade. Even if there is an adversity like the valley of the shadow of death, please do not doubt God. God never harms His children. All the sufferings I am going through now work together for good in the end. The ultimate purpose of the good is the consummation of salvation.
According to verse 29, salvation is the absolute sovereignty of God. Salvation is not achieved through human effort, but the work of salvation is accomplished through God's deep will, God's calling, and justifying and glorifying God. Because the perfection of salvation is to make them like Jesus, those who have been saved become like Jesus. Your mind, heart, and life become like Jesus. This is the figure of those who have been saved. Congratulations on becoming like Jesus.
Dear family of faith, The reason why the earth's work has not come to an end today and Jesus did not come again is because God's work to save souls has not yet come to an end. Through our reason, heart, and soul, we hope that you will hear the voice of God who is still calling us desperately, and I pray that you will grow up as a people of heaven who become righteous and glorified every day and become more like Jesus.
