God calls us to be intercessors (1 Timothy 2:1-5)
1. What is intercession?
The word “intercession” means intercession. How do we benefit from intercession? You will lead a peaceful life. As Christians, we should pray for the purpose of praying for the saints so that all may be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (verse 4).
2. We Christians are called to be intercessors.
(1) Who is a Christian? They are created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-28). When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we become children of God and receive the privilege of calling God Abba Father. Then you will regain your ruling authority. However, I must constantly live the life in which the Lord is the master of my life (1 Peter 2:9).
(2) Intercession is done through true worshipers. We Christians are the temple (Mark 11:15-17). God has called each of us to be worshipers (Isaiah 43:21, John 4:23-24). The intercessor participates in a meeting with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Jeremiah 23:18). Intercession is union with the high priest, Jesus Christ (Hebrews 7:25, Romans 8:34).
⑶ He is called as an evangelist and missionary worker (Acts 1:8). We are called to pray for all people (Genesis 12:1-3). When the spiritual authority is released, the problems of the earth will also be resolved (Jeremiah 1:9-10).
3. The position of the intercessor
(1) In the gap - We must pray between problems (Psalm 106:23).
(2) On the wall - When we pray, we must stand on the other side (Isaiah 62:6-7).
⑶ In the battle - We must stand in the spiritual battlefield (Ephesians 6:11-18).
