Subject: God Delivers From Trouble

Word: Psalm 61:1~4

[1] Hear my cry, O God, and pay attention to my prayer.

[2] From the ends of the earth I will cry out to you when my heart is crushed; lead me to a rock that is higher than me.

[3] You are my refuge, a strong tower from my enemies.

[4] I will dwell in your tent forever; I will take refuge in your wings and on your wings (Selah).

************************************************** **************************

There are two attitudes we take when tribulation comes. The first is to get down on your knees and bow down. The second is to challenge and strive to get out of tribulation. In the Sheng sutra, all those who tried to escape tribulation escaped. You can see two examples.

→You can see Joseph first. At a young age, he was sold to Egypt by his brothers, and tribulation continued, making it difficult to get over from Potiphar's house to prison. However, Joseph did not complain about his brothers or about being imprisoned. It is worth paying attention to the secret of overcoming tribulation that Joseph revealed when he became prime minister at the age of 30 after escaping tribulation. Genesis 41:51 says, "God has made me forget all my troubles and all my father's housework." And verse 52 says, “God has made me fruitful in the land of my toil.” In Genesis 45, we find that Joseph's profession of faith is on the rise. Here, Joseph's way out of trouble is clearly shown.

The first patience.

Joseph waited patiently. (Romans 5:3~4, Luke 21:9) This is emphasizing how important patience is. I hope that those who endure the more difficult and the more difficult they will be accepted by God and believe that they can overcome tribulation, failure, and despair.

Second, I looked to God.

Joseph confessed that it was the providence of God. He saw all the tribulation that happened to him as the providence of God toward him. In other words, we didn't see each event individually, but the whole event. Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” With this kind of faith, Joseph was able to get out of tribulation and become the prime minister of Egypt.

→ Second, we can see Job. He was a rich man who lived in Mustang. He was a very strict person who kept a godly life of faith. Still, tribulation came. Due to unexplained tribulation, I lost all my property and my family, I even got skin cancer, and I was in a situation where I could not get hope from anyone's words. However, the important thing is not the reality of the tribulation he experienced, but the secret to overcoming it, how he overcame it.

First, we did not sin with our lips.

In Job 2:10, it says, "If we have received a blessing from God, will we not also receive disaster?" Everyone~ Your lips are the channel to receive blessings. In Psalm 142, David said, “God, set a watchman before my mouth, and guard the door of my lips.” Dear saints, please refrain from criticizing, slandering, and hurtful words.

Secondly, we acknowledged what God is doing.

It is clearly shown in Job 42:2,5,6. God did it. Only God can restore. This is what I am confessing. Job 42:10 and below are the words of restoration. He also restored his children and doubled his wealth. In 1 Chronicles 4:10, the famous prayer of Jabez is recorded, "Help me with your hand, that I may be out of trouble and have no sorrow." What kind of hand is the hand of the Lord that Jabez is seeking? Psalm 89:13 says, “There is power in your arm, your hand is strong, and your right hand is high.” I pray that you believe that everything is in God's hands.

Dear Sandoll Saints~

God has the power to reverse personal misfortunes and tribulations. He has the extraordinary ability to overturn failure, despair, and frustration, and to give success and hope. Dear brothers and sisters, "Lord, help me with your right hand, so that I may be free from trouble and have no worries." Believe that this is my prayer and our prayer, good God! God who answers! I earnestly pray in the name of the Lord that you will become Sandoll saints who praise God who blesses you!
