Title: God Has a Solution
God has a solution (John 21:12)
< The seamless net of love >
There is an article called 'Father's Umbrella' by Lee Cheol-hwan. The author's father was a junk dealer, and as a child he was very ashamed of his father. My father ran a junkyard and saved some money to open a restaurant, but it failed. Again, my parents delivered milk together, but my father got into a car accident while delivering milk, so he had to wear a cast and rest at home.
One day, it rained heavily. I was studying for the test, and water leaked from the roof, so I couldn't study at all. Then, suddenly, my father in a cast went out and didn't come back for over an hour. Worried, I searched the alleyways and went home, seeing a black object on the roof. It turned out that my father was holding an umbrella on the roof. It is said that whenever he thinks of his father, he gets stronger.
Love is acting quietly. The heart of the father is the heart of God. Even now, God quietly supports me. The net of God's love is draped toward me. So there is hope. Although man does not have hope and countermeasures, God has hope and countermeasures. In John 21, there is no 'loud noise', but there are no gaps in the web of the Lord's love that is spread out in silence. You can read the warm love for the disciples by looking at any actions or words of the Lord.
"Without forgiveness, there is no grace"
When Peter counted all the fish he caught, trying to avoid the awkward situation, there were 153 large fish (John 21:11). After that was over, there was nothing more to do. So did the other disciples. Perhaps they lit a charcoal fire or pretended to dry his clothes when Peter was counting the meat. In such an awkward situation, the Lord said: See verse 12 of the text. “Come and have breakfast!”
How kind are your words? In that one word, there was love, forgiveness, and comfort for the disciples. In Gyeongsang-do’s language, they say, “Let’s have a meal!” In that blunt word, “I love you. I forgive you.”
Eating together has a deep meaning. Without food, for some reason, human relationships do not deepen. Eating together means “I want to be friends with you. I like you. I forgive you.” In the text, Jesus said to his disciples, “Come and eat breakfast!” “I still love you. I have forgiven all of your sins.”
give and receive forgiveness People with a strong belief in justice and fairness are usually not very forgiving. Forgiveness itself is so unfair. Forgiveness doesn't make sense in the first place. I can't forgive you for the sake of it. Forgiveness is not understanding. Understanding and forgiving is not real forgiveness. Forgiveness is tolerating things you do not understand and tolerating and loving the person who caused you great difficulties and disappointments.
The Lord forgave me so. People's inability to forgive is evidence that God's grace has been exhausted and the fuel of grace has run out. Not forgiving means that there is no grace now, or that there is no grace to be received in the future. That's unfortunate. If I do not forgive, the fruits of that unhappiness return to me.
Forgiveness is instinctively difficult, but if you think about God's great forgiveness, you can forgive. Forgiveness is not difficult if we take seriously the fact that God has made the children of Hell the children of Heaven. Perfect faith makes impossible forgiveness possible. Forgiveness puts your mind at ease. Happiness and peace belong to those who forgive. When the spirituality of forgiveness flows, a person has the most vitality and hope, and the taste of life is the most. Knowing this fact, the Lord said to the disciples, “Come and eat breakfast!” and invited them to the seat of forgiveness.
<God has a solution>
The first focus of ministry should be on “How to feed the saints well?” After eating well, you should give them a mission. In John 21:15, even when the Lord reminded the disciples of his mission, he did it after they had breakfast.
After all, the beach party on the morning of the Sea of Galilee was a gift of grace that the disciples would never forget. At that party, the disciples filled their hungry stomachs, but above all, they filled their hungry hearts. Jesus' primary concern is to give grace. That grace solves all problems and fills all the shortcomings. The Lord knows even my trivial anxieties and sees even my silent moans.
The Lord still loves me in spite of my shortcomings, my failures, and even though I have hurt Him greatly. Even when I have no solution, God has a solution. Even when I sigh, God has a brilliant plan for me. I can't, but God can.
The sound of the environment is not important. It is necessary to refer to the voices of others, but that is not very important. Of course, I need to listen to the voice of a good person, but what is more important is the voice of my conscience, and more important than that is the voice of God resounding within me. If God says it is good, then it is good; if God justifies, it is righteous; if God says there is hope, then there is hope; and if God has a solution, then there is a solution.
