Title: God Who Helps You in Life
Until now, people believed that the more scientific civilization developed, the better life, more comfortable and safer life.
However, in today's world, where we are receiving the benefits of science more than ever, we have to face bigger disasters and live a more insecure life.
Therefore, people rely on various insurances for their own safety, and they are working hard to overcome their anxiety through a lot of property.
However, such efforts only deceive themselves, not the true prescription for their own safety.
The surest way to protect yourself from all kinds of calamities, tribulations and fears is to stay under the wings of God's protection.
Indeed, God depends on you and protects and protects the people gathered under your wings as follows.
Yehwa - A grandmother's unique evangelism method
These are the words of a missionary who was doing missionary work in Africa admiring the unique evangelism method of an indigenous woman.
It is said that this grandmother was illiterate and had a visual impairment.
How could such a person be able to evangelize so well?
This was Grandma's unique evangelism method.
One day, not long after my grandmother accepted Jesus, she came to the missionary and asked:
“Missionary, where is John 3:16 in the Bible?”
The missionary did not even know English and, according to Grandma's request, found the Bible and drew a red line.
Missionary is an elderly woman who can neither read nor see, so I just wondered why she would make such a request.
From that day on, my grandmother began to evangelize.
Every day, my grandmother went out to the front door of the local school around the time the students finished class.
And to the students coming out of class, “Student, can you help me?” speaks.
When the blind grandmother asked for help, the students couldn't refuse and asked, "What can I do to help you?" comes to him.
“Actually, there is a book that this grandmother likes, but she can’t see it very well. So, would you mind reading only the part marked in red?”
Then, the student reads John 3:16 over and over so that the grandmother can hear it well.
“Thank you very much. But do you know what the words you just read mean?”
"I don't know" I'll teach you.
This means that God loves us.
He said that because he loved me and his students, he gave his one and only son, Jesus.
But if we believe in that Jesus, all our sins are forgiven, we become children, and we receive eternal life.
This was Grandma's unique evangelism method.
It is said that many people came to know Jesus because of his grandmother, and many of them grew up to become Christian leaders in that country.
*Pray also for us, that God may open the door for us to preach, that we may speak the mystery of Christ; for this I am bound (Colossians 4:3)*
1. Keeping with sincerity
The people of the world squeeze a lot of effort and wisdom for their own safety.
Thus, the walls of the house are built high, and the safe is locked with a strong key.
But do you know that he can sleep peacefully?
I can't. As the wall is built high, his worries and anxiety only grow deeper. However, those who have God as their King can be completely free from such anxieties.
Why? God protects us, but he watches over us thoroughly without blinking an eye, and works for our safety.
The psalmist said about God's faithful work, "The Lord will not stumble you, nor will he who keeps you slumber; he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep" (Psalm 121:3,4). and is praising it.
We will receive this absolute protection forever until the day we go to heaven.
Yehwa-Inner Mirror
A stingy rich man who only knew himself met a rabbi, a Jewish professor.
The rich man asked the rabbi to teach him a lesson in life.
Then the rabbi took him to the window and asked:
"What do you see?"
The rich man answered as he could see.
"I see people passing by."
This time he took the rich man in front of a large mirror and asked the same question.
"What do you see?"
"I can see my face."
It was the rich man's answer.
The rabbi thought for a moment and then said to the rich man.
“The windows and mirrors are all made of glass.
Mercury is painted behind the mirror, so you can't see the outside and only you can see yourself.
Likewise, a person whose inside is painted with greed is an unfortunate being who knows only himself."
In order to see God and clearly understand His will, we need clear and pure spiritual eyes.
However, when I take the initiative in my life without abandoning my personal greed,
You cannot have spiritual eyes to see the Lord.
When I let go of the greed, pride, and selfishness that are covering my eyes,
I will not be able to see myself in my eyes, but to see our Lord.
2. Guarded by the Almighty Hand
The military has a mission to protect the country.
However, the military cannot completely protect the lives and property of the people.
Sometimes they are weak and cry out, and they can collapse on their own due to internal corruption and faults.
But the God who protects us does not protect us clumsily or protect us adequately.
With his almighty hand, he keeps even a single hair on our head from harm and keeps us safe.
In a clear tone, Jesus promised, “You will be hated by all because of my name, but not one hair of your head will be hurt” (Luke 21:17,18).
Indeed, God will keep us with His outstretched arm and strong hand, and will keep our souls safe from all the tribulations we will face in our lives.
Our own lives are endlessly hopeless, yet we can sing of joy because God is with us every day and is our help.
Let's no longer depend on ourselves or the world, but let's hold on to God and complete the life of a stranger.
