There is such a famous bastard.
Joseph Haydn, who wrote many great chants, wrote many great songs.
One day someone asked Haydn:
“Where do you get your inspiration for composing that amazing piece of music?”
Haydn answers
"Every time I pray, I say, 'God, you are the master of my life. If God gives me wisdom to compose beautiful music, I compose it for the glory of God, and I will present this music to you for the glory of God. I pray that you will.”
Some of the songs he wrote are famous. It is 'creation of heaven and earth'. Based on the biblical Genesis and John Milton's Paradise Lost, he composed this great 'Creation of the Heavens and Earth'. It was the day this song was performed in Vienna. At that time, Haydn was very ill. So when this great piece was performed, he sat in the back as a patient.
The conductor who was conducting that day was truly amazing and conducted this music in front of God. When the performance was over, thousands of people stood up and applauded the conductor. Then the conductor interrupts the audience's applause and points to Haydn sitting on the back seat balcony. And it says:
“It’s that person. He wrote this amazing and beautiful piece of music.”
The people turned their heads again, looked at Haydn, and stood up in unison and started clapping. Haydn says, abruptly interrupting the audience.
“No,” he tells the famous story, pointing to the sky.
“I am nothing. He is everything. All of this comes from heaven.
The Lord gave me wisdom because He knew my weakness. Glory to Him alone”
