Contents
Word: Isaiah 12:1-6
1 On that day you said, O LORD, you were once angry with me, but now your anger has ceased.
And comfort me, and I will give thanks to you.
2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust and have no fear; the Sovereign LORD is my strength.
You are my song and my salvation.
3 Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.
4 And on that day ye shall say, Give thanks to the LORD, and call upon his name and declare his deeds among the nations.
Declare him and make his name high
5 Praise the Lord, for he has done a very beautiful thing, let it be known to all the world.
6 Lift up your voice, you inhabitants of Zion, and cry, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you.

The text can be divided into three main parts.
First, in Isaiah 12:2, it says that God is my salvation.
<My God, my savior> To confess like this is the right confession of faith.
Salvation is something that is thrilling and overflowing with gratitude when it is mine.
The confession 'God is my salvation' contains several meanings.
First, it says that only God is my salvation.
In other words, it expresses the uniqueness of God and the uniqueness of salvation.
As there is only one God, there is only one way of salvation.
The religious pluralists that exist in this age say that the way of salvation lies in several religions,
They are raising their voices of criticism against Christianity, which claims that there is only one way to salvation.
However, there is no salvation without the cross of Jesus Christ, which God has given by grace.
I believe that saying 'God is my salvation' should be a confession of faith for you and me.
Second, God forgives me.
Forgiveness is a condition of salvation if it is the process of salvation.
In other words, salvation is that I have my sins forgiven. If you are not forgiven, you cannot be saved. But forgiveness is not something everyone can do. A sinner cannot forgive a sinner. Only God can forgive sinners who will go to hell.
Thank you for this fact. I pray in the name of the Lord that I can always give thanks to God for the forgiveness of my sins.
Third, it is said that salvation is a perpetual, lasting event.
Even if you get better after being treated at the hospital, and no matter how hard you try to stay young, you cannot live forever as if you were immortal. No beauty, no hero, no glory, no wealth, nothing is eternal.
But I hope you believe that God's salvation is eternal. Salvation is God's good event that lasts forever and ever. Salvation, once received, lasts forever.
Second, he sings 'God is my strength'.
A song praising God as my strength is an experiential confession.
Power is divided into three main categories.
1) There is physical strength.
The power of the human world, such as power to make things, force, and economic power, is power of the body.
2) There is spiritual power.
This power is transcendent and supernatural.
3) There is the power of God.
The power of God cannot be challenged by anyone or anything, and no one dares to stand against it.
This power of God becomes a strong force for those who believe and depend on God.
God is my strength and I pray that you believe in my salvation.
Third, God is praising my song.
Among the songs of man, the most precious and noble song is the song of praise to God.
That is why the hymns we sing during worship become holy songs.
Psalm 119:164 says, 'Seven times a day I praise You for your righteous statutes.'
Also, in Acts 16, Paul and Silas sang hymns to God in the deep darkness of the night while in prison in Philippi. And that night I saw the miracle of the prison gate being opened
Dear brothers and sisters, I hope that you will give thanks and praise even when hardships and difficulties are piled up like a mountain. Jericho, which was like a stronghold, collapsed because it blew trumpets and sang hymns.
My strength, my song, my savior, I praise you.
I pray in the name of the Lord that this will be our eternal confession of faith. Amen
