Title: God Loves Me / John 3:16
God loves me John 3:16
God's supreme love is well expressed in John 3:16, and John 3:16 is called the heart of the Christian gospel.
1 God who loves the world
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
The world means people living in this world, and God loves one person's life more than the whole world.
Man is a being who lives on love, and true love is to love without reason.
The mystery of God's love is God's absolute sovereignty, which is different from our way of love.
2 God gave his only begotten Son
“The love of Christ compels us. We consider that if one died for all, then all died” (2 Corinthians 05:14).
Jesus suffered the judgment and curse that I would receive instead of suffering.
The Bible does not teach us to commemorate the birth or life of Christ, but continues to emphasize that we should remember Christ's death.
Jesus came to give his life as a ransom.
3 The God Who Gives Eternal Life
If you believe in Jesus, you will have eternal life.
Eternal life is another word for salvation.
Salvation and eternal life are obtained and enjoyed on this earth.
Those who have received eternal life on this earth will enjoy eternal life in heaven.
“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned, but has passed from death to life” (John 5:24).
“He who believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son will not see eternal life, but the wrath of God remains on him” (John 3:36).
“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life” (John 06:47).
Those who believe already have eternal life, so they must enjoy it and be sure.
“He who has the Son has life, and he who does not have the Son of God does not have life” (1 John 5:12).
If we accept Jesus on this earth, He will give us eternal life as promised and God will become our Father.
We who have this eternal life must live as if we were living in heaven.
Even if you suffer a little on this earth, heaven is guaranteed.
