Title: God Made Me / Philippians 1:6

Content God made me / Philippians 1:6

Key Verse: “We are sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Christ Jesus.”

Word: The year is coming to an end. Looking back over the past year and my life, I am convinced and acknowledged that God has made me. When I was young, I knew nothing and played foolishly, sometimes made mistakes and fell, but God has made me.

As a child, I stuttered a lot. Within the limits of my language barrier, I blamed God and complained. I said and did a lot of things that I shouldn't have said to my parents and friends. But looking back now, I can't help but admit that at that time, he was already preparing for what he would do through me, and he continued to do it.

I went through a period of confusion and conflict during my college days. It was a very difficult time socially at that time. The pain of our history has been passed down to me and to our generation. At that time, many mistakes and errors, despair and frustration dominated me. But when I think about it now, God has continued to do what He wants to do through me back then, and He continues to do so now. After that, I entered the seminary and went through a lot of trial and error until now. I've been making mistakes.

Why did God even call me? why did you forsake me In the midst of these two screams and resentment, I struggled and wandered. Even at that moment, I have to confess that the work God has already planned and the work that has already begun has been progressing step by step. Today's Word contains our hope and faith. I am confident that God who started a good work in me will continue to complete it until the day Jesus Christ comes. There is also the concept of becoming more and more perfect, and getting better and better. God is making us more and more perfect.

Dear friends! The things that God has planned through you are now being realized step by step. When Jesus comes again, we will be perfected. Until then, God is making us. God has already started a good work in me. It will keep getting better. I hope the year ends with such joy and gratitude. God continues to make you and me. This country and this nation are also being created by God.

Prayer: Heavenly Father! Thank you for making us. We believe, confess, and give thanks that God, who has already started a good work in us, is gradually becoming more perfect until the day Jesus Christ comes again. Help us end the year with a grateful heart, trusting that God is making our homes, our children, and our workplaces more and more perfect. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
