God is near / Acts 7:20-37

A happy life is to rely on and close to God.

Drawing close to God is what the Bible tells us and enables us to live a wise life.

Today's text is the content of Deacon Stephen telling how God led his people in front of the high priest.

When we see that God trained Moses to lead the Israelites in the wilderness and lead them, we can see how close God is to Moses.

Moses had difficulties from birth

But God did not leave Moses when he was in trouble and was always by his side.

Moses was doomed to be abandoned by his biological parents three months after he was born.

Moses' parents were forced to throw their son Moses into the river. Because the Hebrews were all killed by the Egyptians when they gave birth to a son, that's why Moses' parents abandoned him, but God didn't leave him alone, and made sure that an Egyptian princess could raise Moses. You have guided Also, Moses' suffering did not end here. Moses was originally a Hebrew, but when he was growing up, he did not know why he had to grow up in Egypt and live like an Egyptian.

So Moses left Egypt, where he had grown up, and went far into the wilderness.

Moses has now left the hometown where he had grown up and is living alone in a desert where no one lives.

They lived a nomadic life, wandering from place to place every day in a land where no one lived. 1 year, 2 years, 40 years each. It's a really long time

But Moses didn't just waste those 40 years.

God never left Moses during the 40 years and was watching over Moses.

God was shaping Moses according to God's will in that place called the wilderness.

In the wilderness, Moses was always close to God by praying and praising God whenever he was lonely. In the end, God made Moses a great person who could lead the nation of Israel to Moses.

Whenever your difficulties come, God is not in your mind.

Where is God? When I close my eyes to pray, I can feel that everything is dark and stuffy. If I search for God more and pray every time, I can know that God comes to me in a way I never thought possible and is close to me.

Everyone, believe and pray that God is always near to you in difficult times.

Let's become all the children who please God with such faith
