Title: God Never Fails
Revelation (6)
God never fails
(Revelation 1:9)
< You are blessed when you take up the cross >
The apostle John writes the expression “I, John, your brother” to the recipient of the Revelation. The title ‘your brothers’ shows the love and humility of the Apostle John. Considering the position, status, and age of the apostle John at that time, there is no such humble expression.
What is the surest evidence of a saint? It is not a worldly blessing. In fact, there are far more unbelievers among the top 10 and 100 chaebols. The surest proof of the saints is in the word ‘participation’ in the text. That is, we must share in the tribulation, kingdom, and patience of Jesus. Simply put, we must learn to bear the cross with joy in God's will and vision. It is Christianity that we receive real blessings when we bear the cross with joy.
Satan's glory is temporary and one-time. Christians should pursue a life of the cross that is pleasing to God instead of a life of magic magic. If you pursue a life of magic instead of the cross, you can become a star of the day, but you cannot become a person who will be remembered for a long time. A believer must not lose the goal of bearing the cross for a moment and be able to take on difficult tasks if it is God's will. True blessings are given when we bear the cross that belongs to us.
< God never fails >
Where did the apostle John write the book of Revelation? Written on the Isle of Patmos. Why was the apostle John on the island of Patmos? They were exiled for witnessing the word of God and Jesus. According to legend, Emperor Domitian tried all sorts of methods to kill John, but ultimately failed, so he threw him into boiling oil. It is said that he was exiled to Patmos because he did not die.
Did his life end because he was exiled to such a barren land like a deserted island? no. It was there that he did his greatest work at the end of his life. In other words, in a lonely and lonely land, he became closer to God, where he saw the panorama of future history and did a great job of leaving behind the book of Revelation. What an amazing reversal history. Anyone can make such a history as long as they stick to the truth without being swayed by appearances and numbers.
God never makes mistakes. And it never fails. Therefore, there is never anything wrong with the saints participating in the will and work of God. If you have the attitude to be willing to participate in difficult and difficult tasks for God's holy will, God will carry out greater, more blessed and greater works through him.
How frustrated must Joseph be when his brothers framed him and sold him to Egypt? However, after becoming prime minister of Egypt, he realized God's providence and said: “Brothers! It was not you who sent me here, but God.” If you do your best in your present position with the belief that God has allowed you to face difficult events like that, the crisis of life becomes an opportunity for blessing. There is no special person who gives blessings, there are no special churches or prayer centers, and there is no mountain of spiritual blessings. The principle of blessing is simple. Your cross is the greatest source of blessings.
