Title: The Justifying God.
I believe that God will give you great grace today.
Today's reading is a mixture of two great interrelated themes.
has been done. The first is the redemptive historical generational change of the law and the gospel. Second, God and the Old Testament
It teaches the eternal truth that salvation comes only through faith. an era
If you go, another era will come. After the 6.25 Incident, the Korean soil that had turned to ashes
One generation that was responsible for national construction and economic revitalization into an industrial society is now passed on to the new generation.
I handed over the baton.
Looking at the history of political society, in the old days, in the days of the Liberal Party, everyone said that they were hungry and could not live.
I raised my voice. So, I decided to replace it all. After that, the craze for democratization
They had to go through the so-called three-kim era. But now with the new term 386 generation
New characters have appeared, and a new paradigm of politics has emerged.
As above, if we look at the flow of God's history of redemption in the Bible, we can see the transition from the Age of Law to the Age of Gospel
You can tell that an era has changed. Everyone! What is the Law in Old Testament Times?
I don't know how difficult and cumbersome it was to keep. (For example, keeping the Sabbath,
Couldn't move needles on clothes, no smoke from chimneys, executed those who did wrong,
The story of Jews in the United States “No car entry into town” on the Sabbath, etc.)
In Korea, too, in the old days, conservatives were not allowed to drive cars on Sundays. so
Galatians 2:16 tells us the following. “A man is justified
Knowing that this was not by works of the law, but only through faith in Jesus Christ,
We also believe in Christ Jesus, because we did not by works of the law, but by faith in Christ
for justification, for by the works of the law no flesh can be justified.”
And, in Romans 4:3, what does the Bible say? Abraham believed God, and this
It was counted as righteousness to me. This is what I am saying. But the problem is
I understand, but there is a big misunderstanding. What is your belief? It's just something to believe in words
not belief. The Bible says that faith without works is dead in itself (James 2:17).
And you see that faith worked with works, and by works faith was made complete.
(James 2:22) Then, what is works? What is deed? ultimate
It speaks of the Christian life.
Last week, some of us were baptized. Everyone! to be baptized
Doing so comes with great incentives. This is from sin to life, and
It will be a turning point from death to eternal life.
In Acts 2:38, “Peter said to him, “Repent, and let each one of you in the name of Jesus Christ
Be baptized and receive the forgiveness of sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
In Acts 22:16, “Why do you hesitate? Arise, call on the name of the Lord, be baptized, and wash away your sins.”
In Romans 6:3-4, we who were baptized into Christ Jesus, we were baptized into his death
Don't you know that you were baptized? Therefore, through our baptism into death
was buried with him, because Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father
so that, as he gave life, we too may walk in new life
In 1 Peter 3:21, the water now heals you through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
“The sign of salvation,” that is, “baptism” (Mark 16:15-16, whoever believes and is baptized will be saved)
It is not the removal of impurities from the flesh, but a good conscience toward God.
it would be (Just because we are baptized does not change our humanity today.
But the amazing thing is that when we believe in Jesus, repent, and are baptized, the Holy Spirit of God
When it comes to us, from this very moment on, the fate that has been passed down from
You will be freed from “original sin,” which was “the tag of a sinner.”)
Everyone! In this way, our identity has been completely changed. Hallelujah!!!
But you guys look. In what condition did we receive such great and tremendous grace?
Romans 5:8. that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us
God has vindicated his love for us. So in Romans 3:24, Christ
Being justified freely by the grace of God through the redemption which is in Jesus.
said. This is the grace of “justification” that God has given us.
Hallelujah!!! Amen.
