Title: God of Love / John 3:16
Content: God of love/John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
Word: The quality, quantity, and results of a person's faith are determined by who one believes and confesses to God. In theology, this is often referred to as the divine view. If we only believe in God as the Judge, then that person will always live in fear. If you recognize God like those who follow superstitions or shamanism, you will fall into the faith of reliefism.
God is love. It is the best expression of God, and justice is love. God judges humans because He is love. It was God's love that expelled Adam and Eve, who sinned from the Garden of Eden. It is God's judgment that the chosen people of Israel were destroyed by the Gentiles and made captives by Babylon or Assyria, but the deeper meaning is God's love.
It is out of love that a loved one takes a rod or disciplines a child when he or she does something wrong. I don't care what you do if it's not my dear child. Among God's judgments, the most frightening is the judgment of letting go. What kind of love is God's love?
First, it is the love that gave the only begotten Son. “God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son.” The best expression of God's love in words and deeds is the love of giving his only begotten Son. The love that gave the only begotten Son is the love that God gave Himself. The greatest love is the love you give yourself.
Second, it is eternal love. Human love is temporary and changes with circumstances. But God's love is eternal. It is love that loves us humans, but loves a thousand years as a day and a day as a thousand years.
Third, it is forgiving love. God's forgiveness has no limits. If you confess your sins and repent, you forgive them and don't ask about your past anymore. He is the God of forgiveness who accepted the prodigal son without any conditions when he returned from repentance.
Fourth, it is the love that cares for and protects us. As Psalm 121 says, He is the God who protects the sun by day and the moon by night from harm or harm. He protects them with a pillar of cloud during the day and a pillar of fire at night. He protects us like the pupil of the eye.
