Title: God of Peace (2 Thessalonians 03:16)
1. Know that God is always with you.
The writer of Ecclesiastes is stating all kinds of times that come to life, saying that there is a time for everything under the heavens and there is a time for every purpose to be fulfilled. We do not know our future path, but let's leave it to God's sovereignty, rule, and providence.1) (Ho 1:11) So the children of Judah and the children of Israel gathered together I will set up a chieftain and come up out of the land, for great will be the day of Jezreel.
2) (Psalm 98:8) Let the great waters applaud before the LORD; let the mountains sing for joy together.
3) (Hos. 5:7) They have not obeyed the LORD, and have given birth to illegitimate children; therefore the new moon will swallow them up and their inheritance together.
4) (2 Corinthians 6:2) He said, "I heard you in your favor, and I helped you in the day of salvation." Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
5) (Ecclesiastes 3:1) There is a season and a time for every purpose under the heavens (Ecclesiastes 3:2) A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant, and a time to uproot what is planted (Ecclesiastes 3:3) A time to kill A time to heal, and a time to tear down, and a time to build up (Ecclesiastes 3:4) A time to weep and a time to laugh, A time to mourn and a time to dance (Ecclesiastes 3:5) A time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones, A time to embrace, and a time to embrace A time to turn away from work (Ecclesiastes 3:6), a time to seek and a time to lose, a time to keep and a time to forsake; a time to tear and a time to sew; a time to be silent and a time to speak (Ecclesiastes 3:8) There is a time and a time to hate; a time to war and a time to peace.
2. Know that God is with you in everything.
In the eyes of Potiphar, the captain of Pharaoh's guard in Egypt, the presence of God with Joseph could be seen. God is protecting and guiding His children by protecting our every move and by being with us in everything we do. Let the saints pray first and be sure that the Lord is with you in all things.
2) (Isaiah 26:12) You will have peace for us, O LORD; you have done all our work for us.
3) (1 Chronicles 28:13) He also explained the divisions of the priests and the Levites, and all the service in the house of the LORD, and the pattern of all the vessels used for service.
4) (Genesis 39:3) And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and he saw that the LORD prospered in all things.
3. Know that God gives you peace.
The apostle Paul said in his epistle to the church in Philippi that if you do what you learn from me, receive, hear and see, the God of peace is with you. When the saints walk the right path, God's peace, the grace of shalom, comes. Let us believe that the peace of the world is temporary, but the peace of God is eternal.1) (2 Corinthians 13:11) Finally, brethren, rejoice, be made complete, be comforted, be of one mind, be at peace. Greet one another with a holy kiss
2) (Daniel 4:1) A decree from King Nebuchadnezzar to the people, nations, and tongues that dwell under the world, I pray, and much peace be with you.
3) (Ezra 9:12) Therefore, do not give your wives to their sons, nor bring their daughters for your sons, nor seek for them peace and prosperity forever, so that you may be full and eat the good things of the land. You will pass it on to your descendants for an everlasting inheritance.
4) (Phil 4:9) Do what you have learned from me, received, heard and seen, and the God of peace will be with you.
5) (Hebrews 13:20) The God of peace who brought our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, from the dead by the blood of the everlasting covenant (Hebrews 13:21) has made you perfect in every good work to do his will. May what is pleasing in his sight be done in us through Jesus Christ. Glory be to him for ever and ever, Amen.
