Title: God of Promise

Content Q: Hebrews 6:17~18 Title: God of Promise

God promises in advance and works as it is. Everything was promised in the Old and New Testaments.

In the days of Noah, he was judged by the flood. The rain will fall in the future generations as well, so we fear that God will judge us again. He made a promise by setting up a rainbow in Genesis 9:13 and kept it. He promised that if you get sick because of your sins, you can repent. Hundred pills are invalid, but if you repent, everything will be resolved. There is the devil's temptation. In Mark 9:29, he promised that everything would be solved if we pray. It cannot be resolved in any other way, and everything will be resolved through prayer as promised. It is promised in Malachi 3:10 that if you pay a full tithe, you will become rich. Rockefeller of the United States pays tithes well and becomes the world's richest man and does a lot of great things. It applies to everyone. He promised that if you keep the Sabbath day well, you will be blessed. Because South Korea observes the Sabbath, it is prosperous. In North Korea, because it does not observe the Sabbath, it is poor, starving, and there are many defectors.

The way of salvation also promised that God would save us if we believed in Jesus. In John 3:16, 5:24, Ephesians 2:8, Acts 16:31, text verse 17, we received the promise as an inheritance. If we believe in Jesus according to the promise, we will be saved and receive the blessings of heaven. If you believe in the promise and receive salvation, God guarantees you by an oath that you will go to heaven, and the promise cannot be changed and God cannot lie. This promise is so firm, clear, sure, and perfect. Therefore, Abraham believed and was saved and sat down in the glory of heaven. Isaac believed and sat down on that glory, and Jacob believed and sat on that glory (Matthew 8:11). It is not only Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob who will sit in that glorious seat. It is said that many people from the East and the West sit down, so it is too vast, global, and cosmic to say that people from the Old Testament, New Testament, and East and West all sit together. Let's narrow it down and consider only our Adventist Church. Our clergy, elders, priests, deacons, church members, and choirs, all of whom we believe and have been saved, take their place.

The world respects, cherishes, and likes the rich, but despises, ignores, and despises the poor, but the kingdom of God is not like that. A country where the rich can't go! God's country! The poor man goes to the poor God. In Luke 16, the rich contact each other every day, but Lazarus, the beggar at the doorway, is so miserable and wretched. But in James 2:5, did you not make the poor rich in faith and inherit the kingdom of heaven? Just as God loved that humble Lazarus and sent two angels when Jesus ascended into heaven, and the angels from right and left took the Lord and ascended into heaven on a cloud, so in Luke 16:22 the angels came and took Lazarus to the glory of heaven like Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob Now that we went up, we all believed and were saved, and we will sit on that glory and receive glory for eternity. I hope you will always rejoice, give thanks, praise, receive and enjoy all of that glory.
