Title: God of the Weak
Contents, dear saints! We live in an era of competition. Now, the world has become difficult to survive without international competitiveness. So, even if you trample on others, you try to be elevated.
First, the foolish disciples (Matthew 18:1).
Even among the disciples, there was a controversy about who was the greatest in heaven. Because both of them were aiming for a high position. When there was no conclusion, I asked Jesus who the greatest person in the kingdom of heaven was. To this, Jesus gave an answer that broke the expectations of his disciples. He said that unless you become like a child, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. And in the kingdom of heaven, he taught that those who humble themselves like little children are the greatest. People hate being low. They only like to be promoted, so if they get promoted later than their classmates, they will be deeply frustrated.
Second, the Lord of the weak (Matthew 18:2-10).
He taught us not to despise those who were left out of competition and those who were weak. Don't let children stumble for being weak. It means that there is woe to the world because of what causes them to stumble, and woe to those who cause them to stumble. Even if it is a speechless child, if his angel appeals to God about the unfair treatment he is being subjected to, God will hear the appeal and punish him for his wrongdoing. People pay attention to the victors and the high ones. But God cares more about one stray than 99 sheep. I don't want to lose even a single child. Do you feel that you are left behind or marginalized, and do you not feel self-deprecating or fall into a sense of inferiority? Or, on the other hand, do you always have the pride of being first-class in the victor's position and disregarding others?
Dear saint! Rather, Jesus commanded us to welcome the weak. People welcome those who have the authority to help them and those who have a lot of money. And those who need their help either bother or ignore them. But Jesus said that if you receive a little child in his own name, you are receiving Jesus. Do you want to welcome those who help you or vice versa? (Matt. 18:12-14) Saints should set their minds on higher things rather than lower ones. Are you dissatisfied with not being able to take something higher than that? Look low. -Amen-
