Title: God of Truth
Contents
The God of truth created the heavens and the earth in order to reveal the truth and to be praised by all who belong to the truth for eternity. He sent his Son to the people who sat in darkness to testify about him.
As it is written, “Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). "As you say, I am a king, for this I was born, and for this I came into the world to testify of the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth hears my voice." Pilate said, "What is the truth?" ’ (John 18:37-38) It is the same record.
Truth is true. The truth is revealed where lies, and the true light shines out of darkness. The God of truth is also a God of glory. Glory is the source of brilliance.
Regarding this, the Bible writes, “This is the news we have heard from him and are preaching to you: God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all” (1 John 1:5). from the Father of lights, who does not change, nor does the shadow of turning change” (James 1:17).
The Bible further states, “The God who in ancient times spoke to our fathers in various parts and in various ways through the prophets, has spoken to us in these last days as a Son, who made him heir of all things, and through whom he created all the worlds. This is the splendor of God's glory, the image of his very being, upholding all things by the word of his power, performing the cleansing work of sin, and seated at the right hand of the Majesty on high” (Hebrews 1:1-3). ) proves that.
Without darkness, the true light cannot be witnessed, and without the true light, glory cannot be revealed. Regarding this truth, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, and the earth was formless and empty, and darkness was over the deep, and the Spirit of God moved on the waters. God divided the light from the darkness, and he called the light Day and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day” (Genesis 1:1-5).
Without darkness there can be no light, and without evening there can be no morning. Therefore, the things of darkness and evening were worked through Moses, and the things of light and morning were worked through Christ. It is written, "...Moses was faithful as a servant in all the house of God to testify to what was to be said in the future, and Christ was faithful as the son of his household. If we hold fast to the boldness and boasting of hope to the end, it is his house." (Heb 3:5-6) It is the same as the words of evidence.
Therefore, Moses said, “After the Lord spoke all these words to your assembly with a loud voice out of the fire, in the cloud, and in darkness on the mountain, he spoke no more, and wrote them on two stone tablets and gave them to me” (Deuteronomy 5:22). It is written, and Jesus says, “The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, and to those who sat in the land and shadow of death, a light has shined” (Matthew 4:16).
This is why the Bible testifies that “the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ” (John 1:17).
Finally, the only one who has accomplished, finished, and completed all of God's will is our Lord Jesus Christ, the author and perfecter of our faith. Jesus! His name will last forever. Amen.
For this reason, the Bible testifies about Jesus in advance, saying, "You will open the eyes of the blind, you will bring the prisoners out of prison, and you will bring those who are in darkness out of the liver" (Isaiah 42:7).
But until those who belong to the truth know the truth, “He brought me to walk in darkness, not to walk in the light” (Lamentations 3:2) and “He made me dwell in darkness as long as dead” (Lamentations 3:6). But if you know the truth, Jesus, “In that day the deaf will hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind will see out of darkness and darkness, and the humble will rejoice in the Lord, and the needy among men will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. For the violent has ceased to exist, the reckless have ceased, and all who have looked for the opportunity of iniquity are cut off” (Isaiah 29:18-20).
For this reason, the God of truth sent his Son in the flesh for those who belong to the truth, to belong to blood and flesh, and to taste the sufferings of death. As it is written, “It is fitting that the Lord of their salvation should be perfected through sufferings, to bring many sons to glory, of all things and of all things” (Hebrews 2:10). Evidence that even though he was a son, he learned obedience through what he suffered, and when he was made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him, and was called by God a high priest in the order of Melchizedek” (Hebrews 5:8-10). It is like the words of
From now on, we who belong to the truth will enjoy rest with Christ under that order and praise the God of truth forever and ever.
“A voice came out of the throne, saying, “You servants of God, you who fear him, sing praises to our God, small and small.” (Revelation 19:5) Amen, amen. Thank you Lord.
