Title: God Opens Tomorrow

Bible: Joshua 1:1-9

──────────────────────

Likewise, there are times in life when we are tied up somewhere and cannot move at all. A lot of income came in, so I knew that income would come in. I bought a house with a lot of debt, but one day my income went down and it was hard to pay off the debt, but I couldn't give up the house. In some cases.

If we are so immersed in worldly things that we cannot move at all, we cannot achieve our goals at all. Because you can't make any effort to reach a goal just as you can't move forward when your feet are tied up. Also, just as you can't achieve your goals, you can't keep the promises you make with anyone. Also, I can't move, so I can't defend myself if someone attacks me. If Pastor Norman MacLaine in the movie was drowning in the middle of a river and the torrents were pouring in, there was no defense.

A person who is tied up somewhere cannot be changed, and the symptoms of self-righteousness become severe. And the blessing that God has given to that person will not be believed or received. We can know that Jesus is the One who sets us free from the bondage in our lives, and that He is the one who was free.

Today's Bible text tells the story of the Exodus. In today's text, Joshua 1:1-9, Moses died, and the people of Israel held a funeral for Moses. After 30 days of Moses' burial, the people of Israel were still enthralled by the loss of Moses. In God's eyes, the Israelites were bound by Moses' death. To these people, God calls Joshua and first says, “My servant Moses is dead.” Moses' death is already a thing of the past. We cannot change the past. But for now, we can change it with our efforts. Such changes can make the future new.

God clearly speaks to Joshua. “Can you raise Moses from the dead? Moses is already dead. Even if you mourn for 30 days, or if you mourn for 20 more days, can your mourning raise Moses from the dead? Moses is dead.” That's why this verse says, "Don't live a life tied to the past, but consider today more important and tomorrow more important."

Today, God said to Joshua, “Can you raise Moses from the dead? Moses is already dead. Even if you mourn for 30 days, or if you mourn for 20 more days, can your mourning raise Moses from the dead? Moses is dead.” The past is over. “So, you guys, consider today important and tomorrow as important.” I am speaking clearly. And remember clearly the promise God made to the people of Israel from their forefathers. The future must have hope. God's promises are the words of hope in which we can live. That hope gives us the strength to move forward vigorously toward the future.

Then God tells Joshua, “You shall not look left or right.” He tells us that we should only look forward to the promises that God has spoken and move forward.

God has chosen us. Of course, we are in a position of being chosen, but if God has chosen us, then we have chosen God. In these relationships, the key is fidelity. That's faith. The way to live by faith is to live according to the Word of God.

Finally, God speaks to Joshua. “I will go with you to the end of the world. So be strong and courageous.”

Dear brothers and sisters, please believe that God is with you. May you be strong and courageous and free yourself from what you are bound to. I must boldly take off the waterproof boots of the world I am wearing. Only then can you come before the word of God before the promise of God. That is what will change today, and it will appear as a blessing for tomorrow.

Dear saints, I pray in the name of the Lord that today will become a new today and tomorrow will be a blessed tomorrow through believing in God's promises, taking root in the Word, and walking with God.
