Title - God Who Answers
Yehwa - Two warehouses in the sky
A man in a dream was guided by an angel to see the heavenly warehouse. I saw a warehouse, and it was empty. The angel explained why the storehouse was empty. “This is a warehouse full of treasures to be given to those who pray for their wishes to come true. God answered people's prayers, and the storehouses full of treasures were empty.” The angel and the man looked at another heavenly storehouse. The warehouse was full of treasures. “This is a storehouse of treasures reserved for those who give thanks. But there are so few people who give thanks to God, so there are still treasures like this.”
As you welcome the new year, you have many New Year's wishes.
We earnestly hope that that hope will be a new year that is pleasing to God and answered by God, and we want to learn a lesson from David in today's text.
This psalm is a poem of thanks to God, confessing that God established David as the king of Israel and established his kingdom.
First, the poet confesses that he has given us spiritual hope.
Only those who rely on God's power and trust in His help, God makes them pray to God for spiritual hope.
Wishes are the heart of prayer, and words without wishes are not living prayers.
This confession of the poet, “You gave the desire of his heart, and you did not refuse the request of his lips” shows the fact that God answers the prayers of those who pray with the desires of their hearts.
All the wishes of the saints are before the Lord.
Therefore, when you put all your wishes before the Lord and pray with faith, God answers your prayers and allows you to enjoy the joy of victory.
God helps those who are on his side.
Therefore, those who are honest in heart, who completely obey God, and whose conduct is perfect, are worthy of them and help them.
Yehwa-People of prayer, being used
A young soldier was on his way home from vacation and wanted to stop by a prayer center and pray. As he was fasting and praying, he was startled by the sound that came out of his mouth. “Heavenly Father, help me find the woman who will be my spouse during this vacation.” After three days of fasting and prayer, he came down from the mountain. He took the bus to see an old friend. But the same prayer came out on the bus as well. It was strange. I arrived at my friend's house and rang the bell. The door opened and someone showed up. The friend was not at home and it was his sister's sister who opened the door.
God is a God of justice.
In this regard, the Bible testifies:
“He is a shield to those in integrity” (Proverbs 2:7).
Therefore, believers should give thanks and praise to the God of salvation, confident that God will save them even in the midst of tribulation.
Just as the relationship between the two becomes stronger when we sincerely repay the person who has been helped, when we, who have been saved by God, offer praises of thanks to God, God does not reject the wishes of those who praise us. You will.
God is the shepherd of Israel.
This well expresses God's relationship with his people.
Also, God hears our prayers and supplications.
When we cry, He answers us, when we call in trouble, He delivers us, when we ask for wisdom He grants us, and when we knock, He opens the door.
We Christians, sheep of his pasture, can communicate with him anytime and anywhere, and his prayer window for us is always open.
Yehwa - I'll do it for you
It's a rainy Sunday afternoon.
A member who has the habit of evangelizing every Sunday has a cold and is unable to go out.
says my seven-year-old son. "Daddy, aren't you going to the evangelism?"
"I can't go because I'm not feeling well."
"I'll do it for you"
"Okay, then, turn around the tract a little and come!"
The child went out to evangelize on behalf of his father.
It was a rainy day, so it was not easy to meet people.
But everyone you meet says, "Believe in Jesus!" and gave him a tract.
The child has one last tract left.
At that time, there was a house that stood out to the child.
“I have to give it to the person who lives there.”
I rang the doorbell, but there is no answer.
The second press does not respond.
A third click and you will hear footsteps.
The door opens, and a haggard-looking woman sticks out her head."
The child handed the tract and said, "Believe in Jesus and be saved. Believe in Jesus and you will be happy!" I came back to say it.
Next Sunday, the pastor will speak.
“If anyone wants to testify, come out and tell them.”
Then a middle-aged woman walks out from the back seat.
“My husband passed away two years ago in a car accident.
Two months ago, my only son, suffering from an incurable disease, left me.
I have no one to depend on. Alone.
I couldn't live in loneliness, and the depression recurred and I only wanted to die.
So last week on a rainy afternoon, I decided to commit suicide.
Just as I was about to take the pesticide, I heard the doorbell.
I was going to press it once, but it rang again a second time. It rang the third time.
At that moment, even if I saw the face of the person who came, I had to die. When I went out, a young angel was standing there.
The moment I received the tract, a sentence came in.
“Come to me, you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
I remembered the words written in front of the church I attended when I was young.
At that time, without realizing it, I laid a heavy burden on the Lord.
At that moment, peace came to my heart. Now I am determined to live and not die.
That’s why I came to the church to worship.”
Those who receive God's help!
Those who have God as their strength and shield are safe and prosperous.
God's help is a safe help, and God's shield, no arrow in this world can penetrate.
The greatest blessing and privilege granted to us as His people is, above all else, that He Himself is with us forever.
Dear saints,
I pray in the name of the Lord that you may become saints that God delights in and loves, like David, and that you will walk with God all your life.
