Title: God Who Fulfills the History of Salvation
Bible: Isaiah 45:8-13
Starting Point of the Word>>
Today, this time, I would like to share the word with you under the title of “God who accomplishes the work of salvation.”
I see that many people today are living in difficult and difficult situations and environments.
However, if you look at the people who are trying to get out of this situation and situation in life, you can see that they are divided into several types of people.
First of all, there are people who try to solve life's problems by believing in themselves.
In the meantime, he tries to solve problems through the knowledge, experiences and thoughts he has accumulated throughout his life.
Others rely on fortune tellers.
They either go to the shaman or go looking for something that will grant their wishes.
A few days ago, I saw a TV broadcast introducing an object with amazing powers that grants their wishes.
However, what people found were only stones and branches.
Nevertheless, people were standing in line to touch the stone and the tree.
Finally, there are those who seek the true God for the problems of their lives.
We are looking for a person who showed love for us by dying on the cross for our sins, and someone who rose from the dead and prepared a place for us to go in the kingdom of God.
Those who attended the worship service at this time today are probably the last ones.
But we must not make God an object of false belief like those who rely on ourselves and on divination.
We do not come to worship to fulfill our wishes.
Our prayers are also not to satisfy our greed.
We do not listen to the Word as the people of the world practice magic and to attain enlightenment.
All these acts of worship start from the faith that we entrust all our lives to God, who has already saved us and is our Master, and hopes to live according to His will.
Today, we are sharing a sermon with the title of “God who accomplishes the work of salvation”, and this is the reason why such a title can be given.
Not for our salvation, not for fulfilling our desires, but only within the providence and will of God.
If you look at the words of today's text, you can see that God used Cyrus King of the Persian Empire to save Israel.
In the human mind, in order to achieve God's salvation, God's people must be established and God's people must be able to accomplish salvation.
But God's way is different.
We must have the eyes of faith to discover the will of God.
Israel, held captive in Babylon, has no power to do anything anymore.
And because God knew that if Israel's hands were winning the war, they would become proud, so He wanted Israel to realize God's grace by raising the hands of the Gentiles to save God's people.
In the name of the Lord, I ask in the name of the Lord that it will be a time to realize God's will to solve the problem of our salvation even now through God's amazing voice speaking to the people of Israel at this time.
Go to Word>>
Today, let's listen to what God is saying to Israel, who wants to accomplish the salvation of Israel.
First, God is telling Israel to “not complain”.
If we look at the words of verses 8-10 together,
“Sow justice from above, O heavens; pour out righteousness, O clouds; let the earth be opened, let salvation sprout, let justice spring up with it. I the LORD have created this thing. Woe to the clay potter, who asks, What do you make, or what you have made, he has no hands? woe to you”
Says.
God gave two parables to Israel, who complained a lot during their captivity in Babylon, telling them not to complain.
First, as in verse 9, the parable about the potter and the vessel.
“Woe to the potter who is like a piece of earthenware who quarrels with his Maker!
This means that no matter how many complaints a vessel may have, it cannot complain or challenge the potter who built it.
Likewise, how can we complain and complain without giving thanks to God who made us?
No matter how God made us, we are used for His joy. The following parable tells the parable of parents and children.
If we look at verse 10,
“Woe to him who asks his father, “What did you bring forth?” and asks his mother, “What did you give birth to?”
The meaning of these words is that if you disobey your parents, which is the basic morality of a human being, and speak against your parents or disrespect your parents by complaining, it means that you will be angry with yourself.
It means that this parable, like the parable of the potter, is clearly saying that one cannot complain or complain against God, the Creator.
The important thing is that God is a rewarder according to our level of faith and the hands of our actions.
Because Israel was now taken into captivity in Babylon because of their unbelief and corruption, they should have repented and stood right before God rather than complaining.
According to Galatians 6:7,
“Do not deceive yourself, for God is not taken of all; whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.”
You said.
In the name of the Lord, I ask in the name of the Lord that all of our members at this time will have more time to express their gratitude and confession of faith rather than complaining and complaining to God.
Second, God says to these Israel, “Ask me about the future.”
This is verse 11 of the text.
“This is what the Holy One of Israel, the LORD, who made Israel, says: “Do you inquire of me about the future, and give orders to me concerning the work of my hands of my sons?”
The people of Israel wondered about their future and future as they were now captives in Babylon.
God speaks to Israel in this state.
“Ask Me About Your Future”
This is a message to ask God, don't get frustrated by yourself, don't struggle alone, and don't embrace everything by yourself.
Even now, God is the One who answers and answers the questions of our lives.
Because God loves us, He wants to be together and to fellowship.
Jesus, who is the very essence of God, also came to this earth in the flesh, met people whenever he had time, and filled their needs.
David always asked God what he was doing.
So God was with him, strengthened him, and established him as a great king who will be remembered for generations to come.
The Lord helps the saints who come and ask questions even today,
We can receive God's help when we become saints who ask and entrust everything before God.
In other words, leave all difficulties to God.
If you want to ask someone for something, you have to pay a price or give a bribe to someone above you.
However, God is telling humans to ask unconditionally without any requirements.
Then it will be solved.
I hope that you will become believers who entrust all the problems of our lives to God today and ask.
God is pleased with us, and He will give us amazing grace to solve our problems.
Third, God “will release the captives free of charge” toward such Israel.
You said.
If we look at verse 13 of the text,
“I have raised him up in justice, and I will make all his works straight, and he will build my city, and I will release my people from captivity, saith the LORD of hosts, without price or recompense.”
I did.
God promises to free the Israelites from the Babylonian captivity.
According to Ezra 1:1-2,
“In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, the Lord moved the hearts of Persia and Cyrus to fulfill the word that the LORD had spoken through the mouth of Jeremiah. He has given me the kingdom, and he has commanded me to build a temple in Jerusalem in Judah.”
recorded.
Like this saying, after 559 BC, Cyrus, king of Persia, took over Babylon and brought the Israelites home.
God moved the heart of Cyrus to bring the Israelites home, but he did it without any cost.
Are we saved through Jesus Christ?
What did you pay for?
The saving grace of Christ Jesus was also a free sacrifice and love for us.
It is the grace of Jesus Christ that we are saved and become children of God, and that we are justified is the grace given freely through faith in the salvation of Jesus' blood.
At the end of the speech>>
Organize your words.
Please remember that we are living in a generation that requires faith to surrender us to God's work of salvation.
I hope that we will not be saints who depend on themselves like the people of the world and entrust us to the wrong and false things of the world, but rather believers who depend on God who wants to be with us and freely grant us the grace of salvation for us. .
These are the words of God to us who have such faith today.
First, don't complain.
Second, ask me about the future.
Third, I will save you without cost.
I pray in the name of the Lord that you will become all the saints who experience God's work of salvation by remembering these words today.
