Title: God Who Made An Abandoned Child Queen

Contents

Ezekiel 16:1-14 / God who made the abandoned child his queen

* Before God's choice, Israel // was like a child abandoned in blood

& God spared such an abandoned, hopeless corpse of blood,

& helped me grow.

- Not only that - that alone is such a great love / and a great grace...

& Make Israel the bride of God - give her the position of Empress

& because of his splendor - made him famous among the Gentiles.

* Through today's text / What kind of God is... What are the lessons he gives me...

& Let's think about a few things.

1. What is Israel originally?

Verse 3 Words!

* The original roots of Israel / were Canaan, Amorite, and Heth.

** what?

- You too are inherently - [gentiles] who have not been chosen by God.

- In particular, [Canaan] is a descendant of Ham. - A cursed descendant / Isn't it?

** “You are originally the cursed offspring of God /

& a corrupt descendant who worshiped idols / a descendant that was destined to perish.” //

* Also, verses 4 and 5

- Also, in the original Israel - the newborn baby

& without anyone's attention and care / abandoned in the fields - that's what he was.

- A being who never received love and attention

- Being abandoned by everyone

- Beings who do not have the power to protect themselves with their own strength

- A being with no future or hope at all!!

* By the way, / What does God do about abandoned Israel //?

Verses 6-7

- When God saw such poor and pitiful Israel,

& With great love and grace - He saves us.

- In addition, not only to save him /

& Help and guide.

** This is / God chose Abraham from Haran full of idolatry

& Sending Israel to Egypt - blessing it to become a great nation - you're talking about.

* Then, then - God's great love continues.

Verses 13-14

* You saved Israel, abandoned in blood, / and made it grow.

& it's really total grace / it's love... //

& God adorned such Israel with all kinds of beautiful and splendid ornaments,

& Israel as God's bride - queen.

- I washed the bloody bum with water / applied expensive perfume.

- The girl who used to be naked / is now overlaid with embroidered clothes, leather shoes, fine linens, and silk.

- Besides that, I ate the finest food / fine flour, honey, and oil.

- everything she needed and wanted // by her benevolent and generous husband

& generously given.

** And then, she became a beautiful queen and /

& her fame and glory / became known all over the world.

** This is - referring to the / [Mt. Sinai Covenant] - made with Israel.

* Dear friends!

- Israel today is // everything / (given to the unqualified)

& Totally God's grace / mercy / the result of God's great love - Isn't it?

** Is it only Israel?

- Aren't we the same today!!?

** Looking back... / Everything - God's grace / Isn't it love?

- Even though I do not deserve to be loved or to receive grace at all

& choose me / lead me thus far

&, that you have established me and entrusted me with your precious work

& what a great grace and love? - Isn't it?

** Don't forget this // Make sure to do this! I have to keep it in my heart.

* Everyone! / The one who is loved - must know / how to respond to that love.

- Love must have a response.

** How will you respond to that love and grace?

- (Even if we cry all the time, we can't repay all the love and grace with tears)

& risking your life for worship / risking your life for obedience / risking your life for devotion - I hope you become like that.

2. Also, in today's sermon / while meditating - what applies...

- God gave birth to a bloody / abandoned child

& saved / cared for.

* We too, like God, / should save / take good care of the newborn children.

* Dear friends!

- A new family that God has sent to us!!

& pay more attention to them - put your heart into them.

* We / When Ye Dam-mi comes on a Sunday - just to make fun of Ye D-Am

& peek-a-boo / hugs / they just gather and give attention

- When little babies come.

** For new families / you should do the same.

- A newborn baby is supposed to get a lot of love.

* Everyone! / What about your parents?

<Me too. // I'm a pastor... - I like people who say I'm pretty

- I hate people who don't like it.>

** God is the same.

- Indifferent to the new family, the newborn children of God, / with no reaction. //

& God is not good.

* Dear friends!

- New families that God has sent to us

& Don't keep avoiding it because it's awkward / Give yourself your will

& Show interest / love // Just like you would buy them sweets - buy them something delicious - and so on.

3. Verse 6 says!

* Is there a word that is repeated twice?

- [Alive even if you are bloody!!]

* Dear friends!

- Sometimes our lives / become bloody.

** At that time / God is speaking to us who are bloody.

- “Alive even if you are bloody!!”

- what? - Never give up!!

** why?

- We who are covered in blood / Surely - God will have mercy on us

& because God will save you...

* Dear friends!

- By looking to God who always loves us / and helps us

& know how to ask God for help - people of such faith! / I hope you are all right.
