Title: God Who Prepares / Philippians 4:19
The God who prepares the content / Philippians 4:19
The Lord wants peace to come to everyone, and He has already taught a great truth 2,000 years ago. “Do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow you will be anxious about, and one day of trouble is sufficient for that day” (Matthew 6:34).
A believer wrote the words of promise in the Bible, such as “Ask, and it will be given to you” on a small piece of paper and rolled it up and kept it in a box.
The number of verses on the papers collected in that way amounted to 40 to 50. Whenever he felt weak, lonely, or discouraged, he took out a verse from the box and read it, refreshed. Then something very painful happened in his life.
So I found a little box I had forgotten about for a while and tried to get a scripture out of it. However, while moving the box, he accidentally fell over and spilled all the scripture notes. In an instant, he heard the voice of God. “All of these are promises to you.” Hearing these words, he prayed like this. “Lord, you have given me so many glorious promises, how foolish I was to ask for only one word of them.”
A lot of young people are dying these days. Coming out of college doesn't give you a job or a chance to design your life. The older generation is sitting helplessly in the face of tremendous change. But we must trust the word of the Lord to provide for all our needs.
God's love for us is given through Christ Jesus. Our earnest prayers reach God in the name of our Mediator, Jesus.
The people of the world live for tomorrow, and when their lives run out, they have nothing more to prepare, so they cannot but die in despair. But Christians live their entire lives preparing them for one goal. It is preparation for a new life in heaven. When we are hungry or suffer from disease, please believe that there is a grace that God wants to give us through it. God sometimes gives us pain to make us depend more on Him and love Him more.
The abundance we hope for and demand is actually insignificant. We should not judge God's abundance from the same point of view as the people of the world. I want you to believe that God wants us to live in abundance not only on this earth but also in heaven like a prince.
