Among modern psychological terms, there is a term called 'fixation', which refers to the phenomenon of trying to achieve psychological stability by continuing to maintain the childish or negative habits of the past. A person who falls into this fixed state unconditionally hates and fears change, and tries to enjoy stability there by being bound by the old, which has not changed.
But everything is changing. Life is not static. If I am the only one who is not changing while I am constantly changing, it is not that I am not changing, but I am causing a change called regression. If you don't keep pace with the ever-changing things, in that moment you're backing yourself up. And yet, we foolishly think that if I persist, I remain stationary, but now I am stepping back.
In other words, in a changing society, if you adapt to the speed of thought or the speed of change, there will be stability. Therefore, a person who lives with vitality is not afraid of change, but rather enjoys it. I think about being creative there while riding through change. Nevertheless, there are people who struggle with this fixation and ask why the world is like this. It's not that the world is wrong, it's that the person himself is going wrong, and he falls into a disease called foolish fixation and regresses and turns backwards.
Spiritual fixation is also a problem. There are many people who have already lost their spiritual initiative to the desires of the flesh. So, according to Paul's tone, without knowing it or not, it starts with faith and ends with the law. At first, it started with a faith that was pure and moved by the grace of salvation, but as he lived his life of faith, he became a law in his own way and eventually became a legalist. He is unaware of it, but rather he is criticizing the spiritual state full of vitality.
The point is that man has a body and a soul, and there is something called a spirit again in the soul. It is because of the Holy of Holies that the temple becomes a temple. Without the Holy of Holies, there is no sanctuary, and the large courtyard is a playground. It means nothing. The problem is that the Holy of Holies makes this whole temple holy.
According to the records of physicians, if there was a big shock that cancer patients received three years ago, it leads to cancer today. Therefore, when the mind is healthy, the body can be healthy. And the mind can be healthy when the spirit is healthy. Then, if the body is ill, the mind will heal, and if the mind is wrong, the spirit will heal. But if the spirit is sick, what do you treat it with? It is now over. Therefore, there are humans who are driven by the lusts of the flesh, and there are also those whose reason is sick and the spirit is asleep. When the body dominates the mind and the sick reason dominates the spirit, the spirit sleeps.

After that, it was said to become numb, which means loss of sensory ability.
Finally, the sixth is called neglect. It means giving up and you can't expect anything from it. It means giving up on being human.
Today the Bible says: 'Renew your heart' Renew your mind. Renew the spirit that is in your heart. It means to renew the Most Holy in the Holy Place. It refers to the renewal of the mind and spirit. It is important to refresh your mind. It is important for us to have the heart of Jesus and humble ourselves so that we can serve everyone with love. The spirit refers to the new work of the regenerated soul in cooperation with the heart through the Holy Spirit. When the saints live with the regenerated spirit, their hearts will be renewed. A new person is a person who lives with a regenerated spirit. We must find the world of the spirit and live in the spirit by following the guidance of the Holy Spirit. To do this, we must repent and turn away from our sins, renounce all greed, deny ourselves, and continue to live in communion with God while always looking forward to the spiritual world.
(Romans 12:2) ?쏡o not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect??(2 Corinthians 5:17). If you are in it, you are a new creation; the old has passed away; behold, the new has come."
You must be renewed as a new person every day. Your mind needs to be renewed, your character to be renewed, your bad habits must be renewed, and your life must be renewed. Change here refers to fundamental change. For example, an egg turns into a chick, a tadpole turns into a frog, and a slug turns into a cicada. So, those who have been renewed in spirit do not live centered on the flesh, but live in the spirit, do not think about earthly things, but think about things above, and live on earth but live a spiritual life that belongs to heaven.
Verses 23-24 say, ?쏝e renewed in the spirit, and put on the new man, which after God was created in righteousness and holiness in truth.??First of all, the saint must be renewed day by day in spirit. The heart is the spirit of the heart, and ?쐔o be renewed??means ?쐔o renew. to renew??
It is a state of change occurring in the present. As the spirit of our heart is renewed day by day, the change and renewal of the heart takes place moment by moment in Christ. When we abide in Christ, our thoughts change and our lives change. When the soul, the source of our actions, is renewed, our appearance and the shape of our lives change.
Also, those who have a renewed heart restore the image of God. Verse 23 says, ?쏱ut on the new man, which after God was created in righteousness and holiness in truth.??The model of novelty is Jesus Christ, that is, God. We must be renewed in righteousness and holiness after the image of God. Righteousness is the right attitude to live, and holiness is a holy life in relationship with God. The new man is not a change of skin color or clothes, but a change of spirit and change of mind and life. That is, it is the right attitude of life and a holy life. This is the result of living under the control of the Holy Spirit.
A seagull lived on a certain beach. One day, a seagull caught a rotten fish that had been dumped on the pier, put it in its mouth, and flew into the sky. However, seeing this, many seagulls rushed in. Seagulls struggled to keep their "rotten fish" away. But the seagulls pursued tenaciously. The seagull flew high into the sky, biting a rotten fish. And dropped the grabbed "rotten fish" into the sea. Hundreds of seagulls followed it and flew all at once toward the sea. Then the seagull realized that the blue expanse was his share. It's because the moment I gave up the 'rotten fish' I grabbed, the wide sky caught my eye. From the moment I gave up on the small and trivial things, the big things caught my eye. The same goes for human life. If you give up on trivial greed, the world will come into view.
Today the Bible tells us again. First of all, to be renewed in the heart refers to a relationship with God and a relationship with God. When the prodigal son comes home, he thinks of himself. I don't deserve a son. I have offended my father so much and have been corrupted so much that I am not worthy of a son. "I hope that you will treat me as one of the servants. Please do so so that I don't go hungry." I come back with this humble heart. But his father meets him. ?쏽ou are my son,??he says. At that moment, when the son sees his father's face and is moved by his passionate love, he forgets all of his dirty and shameful past and participates in the glorious feast. "Take off your old clothes and put on new ones." The father dressed him in his son's clothes. Clothes speak of identity. I was given the identity of a son. "You are my son." covered with love. wrapped in love He melts there and becomes a new person with a sense of identity as a son. He became a new person in the relationship he met with his father.
People do not change with material things and cannot change people with the environment. We've heard the word restructuring countless times. You can't change the structure 100 times before restructuring so that your ears are nailed down and people change, and even if you try to solve a problem by changing the system, you can't change your values until your values change.
Therefore, external problems cannot change internal problems. Inward things are possible only inwardly, and spiritual things only through the spirit. Only when there is an internal change can society and humans change. Rebirth is possible only through the Word. Man does not live by bread alone. When we meet God and eat the Word of God, we become human. The root is a spiritual problem. It is a problem of God's love and meeting with God.
