Title: God Who Rewards (Hebrews 11:6)
Anyone with character is most liked when they believe in themselves. A happy family is not a symbol of material wealth, but the love and trust of the whole family. In this way, when a person believes in himself and loves himself, he is loyal for that person.
Because God is also a personal person, he is the most submissive to those who trust and serve God. The writer of Hebrews says about this [without faith it is impossible to please him, for he who comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him] (Hebrews 11:6).
King Solomon says about the faith that seeks God, “Those who love me come and find love, and those who seek me earnestly find me” (Proverbs 8:17). In this way, the Bible tells us that God is a God of justice who rewards us according to how we practiced our faith.
Then, what kind of reward will God specifically give to those who seek Him?
First, He rewards us for our salvation.
It is natural for humans to die. Because Adam and Eve sinned against the Word of God, spiritual death came.
Therefore, no one can save himself by the power of sinners.
God loved humans in this situation. He hated sin, but he loved sinful humans, so he showed us love that was humbled to the lowest level of hell. That love was the sending of his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to this earth. The Bible tells us about the fact that Jesus came [who, being in the form of God, did not consider equality with God to be robbery, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in human form, and being found in human form, humbled himself and humbled himself until death. obedience, that is, the death of the cross] (Philippians 2:6).
These words show God's love and sacrifice. When Jesus was nailed to the cross, God, who took care of the work, had only one purpose in order to save us, who have no choice but to die in our sins and transgressions. When Jesus explained the reason he came into the world, he said that he did not come to be served, but to serve, and to consider his life a ransom for many.
God's love is the love that saves all sinners. In this way, we receive the reward of salvation through that faith in God.
Second, He rewards us for raising us up.
The Bible says, "He made us alive together with Christ, who were dead in trespasses, and by grace you were not saved, but also raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus" (Ephesians 2:5-6). God's love is that even if we who were dead in our trespasses are resurrected by God's grace and overflow again due to our continuing transgressions, He constantly raises us up. The Bible says about this [I stumble, but I do not stumble, for the Lord holds me in his hand] (Psalm 37:24).
It has been 109 years since the gospel came to this land through Jemulpohang on Easter Sunday, April 5, 1885. However, there were many difficulties in accepting the gospel. The 36 years of pressure we had to go through under the Japanese colonial rule and the tragedy of our kinship on June 25, 1050, we were forced to fall constantly.
However, each time God made us pray for us, did not abandon this nation, and supported it with His love, so it has become a rich and stable country that can stand shoulder to shoulder with the world as it is today. When we fall in difficult circumstances, God endures because God's fundamental love is a love that endures and endures.
Peter denied Jesus three times. If God had not endured it, Peter would be cursed on the spot and had no choice but to die. However, God waited for Peter to repent and forgave him.
The same is true of the apostle Paul. He was intent on arresting those who believed in Jesus, but as soon as he heard the voice of Jesus on the road to Damascus, he repented and accepted Jesus. God waited patiently for Paul to the end. Therefore, the Apostle Paul is saying that what I am is the grace of God.
We became children of God by believing in Jesus and being saved. No matter how many times we fall and fall, God raises us up and guides us so that we can live in the grace of God by coming back to Jesus without falling into the world.
Third, He gives us the reward that makes us sit in the kingdom of heaven.
The Bible says, “He raised us up together and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:6). This word means that we humans are raised up together with Jesus in order to live together with Jesus. There are many times in the world we live with care and anxiety, but in the end we will live in the kingdom of heaven.
God's love is the love that makes us sit in heaven.
The final reward given to those who seek people like this is to seat us in that heaven where there are no tears, no sorrow, no mourning. This kind of God's love does not end only in reality, but also leads to the kingdom of heaven.
Even if we are saved from this world and all things are prosperous, if we continue to communicate with Jesus through prayer and be faithful to God's work, God will give us not only blessings on earth, but also rewards in the kingdom of heaven and crowns in heaven.
God's love is a high-level love that sets us down in heaven.
When we believe in Jesus and live in this world, persecution is given to give us the crown we receive in heaven. The reason that God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die is to place us at the right hand of God's throne.
It is God's greatest desire and great expression of love for us to come to the kingdom of God where there will be no tears, no sorrows and no mourning. Jesus said, "Believe in God and believe in me. In my Father's house are many dwelling places, otherwise I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and give you to Me." receive me so that where I am, there you may be also] (John 14:1-3).
God wants us humans to receive a crown in heaven. Therefore, dear saints, let us not turn to the left or the right, look at the cross, believe that our God is the rewarder, receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit before God, put it into practice, and live according to the grace of the Lord, in the name of Jesus. Congratulations.
