Title: God Who Tests
Contents
Chan 342
After saving the Israelites from slavery to Pharaoh (Satan), God trained them in the wilderness and led them to Canaan. He did not lead them directly to Canaan, but called them into a desert where humans could not live, where there were dry, fiery serpents, no water, and no vegetation, and gave them refinement.
After 40 years of training in the wilderness, where we cannot live without relying on God, He led us to the kingdom of Canaan. In life, you can see the love of the Father who, after being saved from sin, must be refined like gold and lead to heaven. Abraham, the father of faith, also tested his faith by how much he loved the Lord after he blessed suffering. Today, I pray that you and I will be recognized by passing the test of God by further training your faith through these words. Then, with what faith did Abraham offer Isaac when he was tested?
1. The God of Training
1) Training to leave the world
Genesis 12:1 The LORD said to Abram, "Leave your country, your relatives, and your father's house, and go to the land I will show you.
Genesis 12:2 I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
Genesis 12:3 I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples of the earth will be blessed in you.
Genesis 15:4 And the word of the LORD came to him, saying, This man will not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body will be your heir.
Genesis 15:5 And he brought him out and said, Look up to heaven and count the stars, if you can count them. And he said to him, "So shall your descendants be.
Genesis 15:6 Abram believed the LORD, and the LORD counted it as his righteousness.
Genesis 15:7 And he said to him, I am the LORD, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land as an inheritance.
2) Training to throw away the world
Genesis 21:8 And the child grew and weaned, and on the day Isaac was weaned, Abraham excreted a feast.
Genesis 21:9 And Sarah saw that the son of Abraham, the son of Hagar the Egyptian, was mocking Isaac.
Genesis 21:10 And he said to Abraham, Cast out this servant girl and her son, for the son of this servant shall have no inheritance with my son Isaac.
Genesis 21:11 And Abraham was deeply grieved for the sake of his son.
Genesis 21:12 And God said to Abraham, "Do not be troubled for your child or your maidservant; listen to all that Sarah has spoken to you, for by Isaac your descendants will be called.
Genesis 21:13 But the son of the maidservant is also your offspring, and I will make him into a nation.
Genesis 21:14 Abraham got up early in the morning, took bread and a skin bag of water, put it on Hagar's shoulder, and made her take her child away. So Hagar went out and wandered in the fields of Beersheba.

3) Training to dedicate the world
Genesis 22:1 After these things God called Abraham to the test, and said, "Abraham," he said, "Here I am.
Genesis 22:2 Take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, says the LORD, and offer him there as a burnt offering on a mountain as far as I will show you.
? When is the promise to multiply Abraham's seed and make it prosperous, and when is the time to offer a 100-year-old son who will not hurt even if he puts it in his eye? From the human point of view, isn't it inconsistent?
Abraham had the faith to sacrifice even his only son, Isaac. What faith did God grant to Abraham when he offered up his son?
Genesis 22:12 The angel said, "Do not lay your hand on the boy, do nothing to him. You have not withheld me, your son, your only son, and now I know that you fear God."
? Abraham's faith was that God raised the dead.
He believed that He was the God of Resurrection. When I left my father's house for the first time, I did not go to Canaan right away, but stayed in Haran.
He also gave birth to Ishmael through Hagar, a maidservant in a human way.
But now, through the refinement of faith, he has reached the level of faith in the resurrection that even his only son, Isaac, would offer.
Seeing that faith, God acknowledged, ?쏯ow I know that you fear God.??I pray that you too will train to reach this kind of faith.
2. God tests the saints he has blessed.
1) He tests us whether we live or not with the Word.
Deuteronomy 8:1 Be careful to do all the commands I give you today, so that you may live and multiply, and you may enter and possess the land the LORD swore to your fathers.
Deuteronomy 8:2 Remember that the LORD your God made you walk in the wilderness these forty years, for he humbles you and tests you, to know what your heart is, whether you keep his commandments or keep them.
Deuteronomy 8:3 He humbled you, made you hungry, and fed you with manna, which you did not know, neither did your fathers know, so that you might know that man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD.
2) He tests whether you love God or not
Deuteronomy 13:1 A prophet or a dreamer among you will arise and show you signs and wonders.
Deuteronomy 13:2 If I say to you, "Let us go after other gods you did not know before, and if signs and wonders do come true,
Deuteronomy 13:3 You shall not heed the words of the prophet or the dreamer, for the LORD your God is testing you to know whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
Deuteronomy 8:16 He fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers did not know, all to humble you and to test you, so that in the end you might be blessed.
10:37 He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and he who loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
Luke 9:60 He said, Let the dead bury their own dead, and go and preach the kingdom of God.
Luke 14:26 Anyone who comes to me cannot become my disciple, unless he hates his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, and even his own life.
? Do you love your children of the flesh more? Do you love your Spirit Father more? I bless you all who love Jesus more than children of the flesh.
3) He is tested for the growth of mature faith.
Job 23:8 But when I go forward, he is not there; I go back and do not see him.
Job 23:9 He works on the left, and I cannot find him; he turns to the right, and I cannot see him.
Job 23:10 He knows the way I go, and after he has tested me I will come out like gold.
Job 23:11 My feet have followed his steps, and I have kept his ways and not turned aside.
Job 23:12 I have not disobeyed the commandments of his lips, but I have valued the words of his mouth above a certain amount of food.
Ephesians 4:13 And we will all become one in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, until we become a perfect man, to the stature of the stature of the stature of Christ.
Ephesians 4:14 So that we no longer become children, that we should not fall into the trickery of men and the deceitful temptations of men, and be driven and tossed by every wind of doctrine.
Ephesians 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, grow up into him in all things, who is the head, which is Christ.
Ephesians 4:16 From him the whole body, with the help of each joint, is joined and joined together, working according to the measure of each part, so that the body grows and builds itself up in love.
Prepare the bride of Jesus Christ and welcome the groom at the second coming. Although it is the marriage promise period, a wedding ceremony and wedding ceremony are held at the second coming. I hope that you will become a saint who adorns the bride.
The purpose of God's test is to train in this church to enter the kingdom of heaven after passing through the 40-year refinement in the wilderness.
After calling sinners and justifying them, God must train them to enter the kingdom of heaven.
Through the bombing of Yeonpyeong Island, the defense is further strengthened. Through these tests and sacrifices, I pray that you will become a book of faith like gold that is more unwavering in the challenges of Satan and the devil.(*)
