Title: God Who Work Together for Good

Contents

Romans 8:28 God works all things together for good

Christianity is said to be a religion of experience. This means that you can meet the living God in the field of life. Of course, unbelievers may say that this is an outrageous lie designed to deceive people. However, the Bible is full of confessions of people who have met God. There are people who have already met God in this place, and there are people who pray to meet God.

Everyone, why do you want to meet God? Because when you meet God, your life's problems will be solved and good things will happen. The Apostle Paul also met God, and he introduces the God he met as a God who works together for good. Today, we pray that the problems in life will be resolved and your joy will be fuller as we learn about God who works together for good that the Apostle Paul met.

Gentlemen, when God created the heavens and the earth, at first glance, it seems that He created it alone, but in reality, the Triune God worked together to perform the work of creation (Genesis 1:26). He created summer, autumn and winter in harmony. And he allowed birds, fish, animals, and various trees to work together to maintain the ecosystem.

It is not good for people who are created in the image of God to be alone, so He created a mate so that husband and wife could live together. And the culmination of working together for good is the Garden of Eden. The Garden of Eden was a place where all things work together for good. There was no harm or damage there. And it was a place where God the Creator and humans, who are the primates of creation, live happily together. However, as mankind rebelled against God and fell, the world that works together for good is broken and divided, leading to evil.

As a result, many problems such as selfishness, hatred, anger, war, strife, envy, and resentment arise, and mankind suffers and eventually leads to eternal judgment. But God is a God who works things together for good. He prophesied that Jesus would be sent to this earth in the future and that when Jesus came, they would work together again to create a work of goodness, and through the second coming of Jesus, a world that would work together for good will be realized.

Therefore, if we live with Jesus, in Jesus we can work together for good with God and our neighbors, and again we can regain the joy, blessings, and happiness of the Garden of Eden. In the Bible, there are images of people who met God who works together for good.

Look at Joseph. As the eleventh son of Jacob, he was monopolized by his father's love. He wore better clothes than his older brothers, ate delicious food, did not do hard work, and even dreamed of becoming taller than his older brothers. But on the other hand, because of these things, he was envious, jealous, and hated by his brothers.

One day, his father Jacob calls for Joseph. “Joseph, your brothers are tending sheep in the region of Shechem, and take a look and report back.” Joseph went to visit his brothers on an errand from his father, and an incident took place there. Joseph's half-brothers, who usually hated Joseph, see him and plan to kill him.

Reuben, the eldest brother, tried to rescue Joseph, saying, "Still, we are our brother, do we have to? Let's just put it in a pit and teach us how to behave." However, in the end, Joseph was sold as a slave for 20 pieces of silver to a passing Midianite merchant and was dragged to Egypt. To the hyungs, "Help me!" And no matter how much I begged with tears, it was no use.

Eventually, Joseph becomes a slave at Potiphar's house. But even in the midst of it, God made him prosper. so the owner

I was recognized and worked diligently as a family secretary. But after a while, the wind of trials blew again. Seeing Joseph's appearance, his master Mana tempted him to lie with him. When Joseph resists this, the woman clings more desperately, grabbing the hem of Joseph's robe and clinging to it. Eventually, while Joseph was running away, the clothes he was caught with were removed.

Then what is this? This woman screams. "Oh, this Joseph is trying to rape me!" Hearing this, people ran and saw that Joseph was running away in haste and naked. In the end, Joseph fell into a conspiracy to commit crimes as an ungrateful, ungrateful man who tried to rape Mana. As a result, he was severely beaten and ended up in prison with the unfortunate fate of being imprisoned. There must have been many tears.

However, 13 years after leaving his hometown due to human trafficking, God placed Joseph as the prime minister of Egypt. And he meets his older brothers who are going through 7 years of plenty and 7 years of famine. When the brothers looked at Joseph who became prime minister, his face became contemplative and he trembled. Then Joseph said: "Do not be troubled or lament because you sold me, for God sent me here ahead of you to save your life, knowing that a famine was coming." (Genesis 45:5) "So it was not you who sent me here, but God He is.” (Genesis 45:8) “You intended to harm me, but God turned it into good to save all people as it is today” (Genesis 50:20) Hallelujah !

Gentlemen, our God is a God who works all things together for good. Have you ever experienced envy and jealousy like Joseph? Did you not fall into the pit in question? Wasn't it sold as a slave in question? Weren't you living a miserable fate, a hard life? But in this case, do not complain or complain. Rather, I bless you that you discover God's plan to work together for good, rejoice and give thanks.

Even in my case, there was a world of God who worked together for good. When I received grace at the age of 26, my older sister three years older persecuted me quite a bit. When you pray in your room and try to read the Bible, you say, "Go out and play!" He would hit his head with a gourd and beat him with a wooden broom. As a result, I had no choice but to go out and play. In other words, I got into the habit of climbing Mt. Samgak every day and praying with my neck down. And it became a good opportunity to evangelize to everyone I met while walking outside. In other words, through my sister's persecution, it became an opportunity to work together for good.

In the case of my mother, there was a world where people worked together for good. It was when my father was building a factory in Suwon. My mother was worried and went down to the site to assist my father, but one day, my father got drunk and talked. "What is a woman trying to do here! Go up to Seoul right now." Then he locked the door and fell into a deep sleep.

No matter how much you knock on the door, the door won't open. I can't, my mother said, "I have to go up to Seoul!" I turned around and was walking down a country road. However, it was a small road in the countryside, so there were no cars. My mother prayed. "God, please send me a car going up to Seoul." But when the prayer is over, a private car stands in front and speaks. "Ajumma, if you go to Seoul, please ride."

The car was heading to Yeouido. Arriving in Yeouido late at night, you will see Yeouido Full Gospel Church. My mother was a Presbyterian at the time, but I knew that Full Gospel Church held an all-night service every day. So, we had an all-night service there. And the next day, we went down to my father's construction site again. But even that day, my father said, "No, why do women keep coming to the construction site? Without going to Seoul!" While I was doing it, I locked the door again.

My mother prays as she walks the country road again. “God, you sent me a car going up to Seoul yesterday, so please send me a car today too.” Then another passing car stops and speaks. "If you ever go to Seoul, ride it." And as we talked, the car the day before was the car of a church deacon, and the car the next day was the car of an elder of a church.

Even on the second day, the direction of the car was also toward Yeouido. Our mother understood. "Aha, do not go down to the field for nothing and pray all night long! God moved my husband so hard to make me pray all night, and he sent a private car to work together for good so that I could attend the all-night worship service. That's right!" Hallelujah !

Ladies and gentlemen, in the Bible, there are confessions of people who have discovered God who works together for good even in difficult circumstances. David, the great king of faith in Israel, confesses, "It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn Your statutes" (Psalm 119:71). I confess this. “But he knows the way I go; after he has tried me I will come out like gold” (Job 23:10).

God especially wants to spread the world that works together for good among the saints. When the Israelites were slaves in Egypt, God called Moses. “Moses, I will send you to Pharaoh to save the people of Israel.” Then Moses answers. "God, who am I that they listen to me? I am hard of mouth and dull of speech. Send someone who can."

Then God speaks. "Isn't your brother Aaron? He will speak for you." In other words, God helped Moses and bound people who could work together. Also, when Paul preached the gospel, he tied up a mate who could work together, and Jesus also tied two of his disciples together so that they could all work together to preach the gospel.

Ladies and gentlemen, the church is a gathering place for people with different personalities, different educational backgrounds, and the wrong environment. However, if we are called according to God's will, there is a world where we can work together for good in God. Even if the appearance does not immediately comprehend with human wisdom and knowledge, believe in these words clearly. “All things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).
