Title: Golden Seeds for Our Body
golden seeds for our body
Text/ 3 John 1:2
1. Introduction
There are always two conflicting minds in our hearts. Positive mind and negative mind. "I can do it - I can't do it, it'll work out - It won't work, let's do it - So what do you do, this time it will work - It's like every day, let's have a dream - It's said to be a dream, it's a new year - What a new year What is the year that came up yesterday?” is the mind.
A disciple who was conflicted with this mind came to the teacher (Guru = Lipochen = Rabbi = Mentor = Sufi = Seonsa = Researcher). Disciple: Master, it is as if two dogs are living inside me. One guy says yes and the other says no, and every day he barks, bang-kong-kuk-, and it makes me feel so bad. Who the hell is right? Teacher: You are the one who feeds it.
Last week we all decided to live a “golden life” for the new year 2008. You will have to sow golden seeds to live a golden life. You cannot reap without sowing. So what golden seeds should you sow? I think you should first sow the “golden seeds for my body”. For it is said that to lose wealth is to lose a little, to lose honor is to lose half, and to lose health is to lose everything. When my body is healthy, I will be able to reclaim lost wealth and regain lost honor.
2. Our body is the temple of the living God
*I am the LORD your God; I am holy, so set yourselves apart and sanctify them, and do not defile yourselves by the creeping things that creep on the ground. Do it (Leviticus 11:44-45) *Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship (Romans 12:1) *You are God's temple, and the Holy Spirit of God is in you. Do you not know that God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, and so are you (1 Corinthians 3:16-17). *Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not yours, but you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God with your body (1 Corinthians 6:15-20). is the temple of the living God...Therefore, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit (2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1).
The Bible strongly recommends that each of us be healthy on the biological level and also on the spiritual level (holiness).
3. Golden Seeds to Sow for Our Body
first. The golden seed for our body is to lead a simple, simple, neat, modest, poor, self-sufficient, and regular life as much as we can eat, wear, and excrete, regardless of whether we are economically or not. These days, we pay a lot of attention to what we eat (organic produce - Shintobuli - seasonal produce - date of manufacture, etc.). However, they are rather indifferent to what is really important. It's not about being indifferent, it's about saying you know, but barely keeping it. A regular diet, regular excretion, regular exercise, etc. One thing I really want to add to this is “sleep early and wake up early”.
Around us, we often meet people who complain of pain and numbness in the back, shoulders, arms, and legs, and I really realized in the field experience that the cause of the pain is the result of living in a crooked posture. I highly recommend “Body Saving Exercise”. The golden seed of health.
third. The golden seed for our body is to work hard and excitingly. What I'm talking about here is not just a job that makes money, but also "everything I like, what I want to do, and what I long for." In other words, it's okay to do things that other people see as useless-crazy-crazy-doing things that have nothing to do and go crazy (of course, don't harm others). But things that are meaningful to me, that make me feel rewarding, that are fun, and that can inspire me are the golden seeds and blessings for our bodies. Because our body instinctively likes it so much that endorphins spring up like a spring of water.
