Title: Good Fight
Contents
The good fight is the fight to keep the faith that leads to the salvation of souls, the fight to win eternal life. It is like the evidence written, “Fight the good fight of the faith, and take hold of eternal life, to which you were called, and to which you bore witness before many witnesses” (1 Timothy 6:12).
As it is written, “By grace you have been saved, through faith, and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8). Since it is a gift given to all the children of slavery through his son, it is a good fight of faith to keep the precious gift from being taken away by the devil who has the power of death.
It is written, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; from now on there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that day. It is the same as the words of the testimony that God said to them” (2 Timothy 4:7-8).
Therefore, the good fight is the fight to keep the faith and take on eternal life. The one who seized the power of death through death The devil is trying to take away the gift that leads to salvation through faith, which is the gift given to the children of God who belong to blood and flesh.
It is written, “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded of you to sift you like wheat, but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. After you are restored, strengthen your brothers” (Luke 22:31-32) ), Satan made a claim to sift the faith of all the children of God who belonged to flesh and blood together with Simon like wheat.
This is like all kinds of trials and tribulations that Satan claims Job and sifts wheat. It is the same evidence as it is written, “Behold, we say blessed are those who persevere. You have heard of Job's patience and have seen the end of the Lord, but the Lord is the most merciful and merciful” (James 5:11).
Thus, after fighting the good fight, finishing the course, and keeping the faith, as it is written, “But he knows the way I go; and after he has tested me, I will come forth as gold” (Job 23:10). You will receive the crown of life that you have prepared. It is the same evidence as it is written, "Blessed is the one who endures temptation, for after this is approved, he will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him" (James 1:12).
Therefore, it is the good fight of faith that all children of God who received the gift of salvation through faith must fight. It is the same evidence as it is written, “You also have the same battle, which you have seen in me, and which you have heard in me now” (Philippians 1:30). This is because this battle is a battle that will complete the children of God and lead them to inherit the eternal life that God has promised.
The law of faith is the law of the Spirit of life that belongs to the flesh and blood and sets free the children of God who were enslaved by the law of sin and death. It is the same evidence as it is written, “The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death” (Romans 8:2).
Therefore, he testified, “Where then is there any room for boasting? by what law, or by works, not by works, but by faith” (Romans 3:27) and he testified, “And since you were young you have known the Scriptures, which are able to make you the Christ. It gives wisdom to salvation through faith in Jesus” (2 Timothy 3:15).
The law of faith in Christ Jesus is the law of the Spirit of life, in which the children of flesh and blood are bound by the law of sin and death, leaving the Father for a while, and then become one again with the Father through Christ Jesus. This law is called the complete law of liberty in the Bible, the law of Christ. This is because they belong to flesh and blood and are afraid of death, so they release all the children who were bound and slaves to the devil all their lives, so that they can become one with the Father again and give them eternal life.
For this reason, regarding the good fight of faith, it is written, “You know that the trial of your faith produces patience” (James 1:3), and also, “The trial of your faith is more precious than gold that perishes even though it is tried by fire. that he may receive praise, glory, and honor at the appearing of Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 1:7). Amen, thank you Lord.
