Title: Good God

Text: Ephesians 1:3-14
A good God can be understood as a loving God. So, why is God good enough to love?
1. Because you made life.
All three things were created by God, but especially human beings were created in the image of God. In Genesis 1:26-27, God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness… , God created man in his own image, in the image of God… ”. Here, the image of God does not refer to the outward appearance or appearance, but to the spiritual appearance. Therefore, God should not be described in any form. That is why it is forbidden in 2 of the Ten Commandments. Because God is a spirit, He also created our lives as spiritual beings. All other things are fleshly and finite beings that will perish in due time. However, how grateful we are that man was created as a spiritual being who lives forever like God.
2. It is because He commanded you to rule and rule over all things with the lord of all things.
Since man was created with special care and love that breathes life into his nostrils, he became a living spirit, that is, a living spirit. As descendants of Adam, we, too, have eternal life, unlike animals and plants that have temporary life. Just as an angel hears and follows the word of God, Adam lived by hearing the voice of God in the Garden of Eden. Jesus said in John 12:50, “I know that his commandments, the word of God, are eternal life.” It is how great God made man, so that he gave life to life in the image of God, as the lord of all things, and through God's affection.
3. Because Jesus saved people from all their sins.
4. It is because the Holy Spirit makes man a temple and makes him Immanuel.
Therefore, the believer must have experience in accounting. Acts 2:38 says, “Account and receive the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” During accounting, the barriers with God are broken down and broken relationships are restored. The Holy Spirit is the Holy Spirit of God who enters into the temple of the saints who have received forgiveness of sins.
Dear Shepherd Church members, today, this good God is with us through the Holy Spirit. In the Old Testament, He was Emmanuel through the servant angel, in the New Testament He was Emmanuel through the Son Jesus, and today He is Emmanuel through the Holy Spirit. This good God exalted us and made us more noble than angels, Jesus called us “friends” (John 15:15), and gave us the glory to sit with us on the heavenly throne (Revelation 3:21), children of God He has given us the authority to become a world leader (John 1:12). Let's praise this good God. Hallelujah!!
. - Amen -
