Title: Grace! must get

Contents

Text: 2 Corinthians 1-10

I would like to congratulate all of the members who worked hard for the hymn hosted by the Gyeonggi Banquet Youth Association.

From an hour before the first day of the revival meeting, people took the front seat and longed for grace, and when the instructor said ‘Receive the Holy Spirit,’ ‘Repent,’ and ‘Receive grace,’ there was a history of repentance with the sound of “Amen, Amen.”

It was a hungry, cold, and difficult time, but I longed for the Lord's grace immensely and lived my life of faith.

As Yosai got a good life, was full and warm, his longing for grace cooled down a lot. The calculation that we can live without God's grace has come to dominate the thinking of many church members. But this is ignorance. In any age and in any circumstance, God's grace must be constantly pursued. (Amen)

So, our church has also held a revival meeting from this evening and prepared an opportunity to long for God's grace and receive God's grace. No matter how busy you are, please attend. Therefore, I wish you the opportunity to receive a lot of grace.

Grace is “God-given”. In verse 1 there is the phrase “the grace of God”, which means that grace is God's property and possession.

The Greek word “karin” translated as grace is the principle of salvation for mankind provided by God through Jesus, and there is God’s love for man, Jesus Christ’s sacrifice for man, and the working of the Holy Spirit toward man. . “Grace” is the blessing of salvation that is freely given without asking for any merit or reward.

in other words

1. The first item of grace is to have the assurance and joy of salvation. In addition, when you say “I have been blessed”, you can say about 6 more things.

1) I realized the Word.

Then you can say you have been blessed. If you want to listen to the sermon, read the Bible, and read the Bible 'I feel sweeter than honey in my mouth', this is evidence of grace.

2) He repented of his sins.

If there are tears, runny nose, realization that I am a sinner, repentance, and the thoughts of avoiding sin dominate me, and I have the assurance of salvation, this is evidence of grace.

3) Healed from illness.

If your sick and sick body is healed and healthy, your heart comes closer to the Lord through the experience of healing, and you have the experiential faith that ‘I will live only for the Lord’, this is evidence of grace.

4) Received a gift.

Gifts are gifts of grace that are not normally possessed by the Holy Spirit, such as tongues, healing, prophecy, interpretation, and love. But if you have received such a gift, you have received grace.

5) You have been filled with the Holy Spirit.

If your heart is happy, your worries go away, you become bolder, you become zealous, you are thankful for the Lord’s grace, you cry because you are saved, your prayers go well, your power is displayed, etc. becomes evidence.

6) My life has changed.

If negative thoughts are changed to positive thoughts, a life of complaining and dissatisfaction is changed to gratitude, and values, life views, beliefs, and national views have been upgraded religiously, straightened and changed to biblical standards, this is a great blessing.

2. What is the “one who has received favor” in today's text?

1) Become a servant of God.

6:1 “He who works with God” / Verse 4 “Professed to be a servant of God”

Yes, the characteristic of a person who has received grace is to become a servant of God. There are workers of God in the church, and there is a sense of work. I hope you will receive grace and become a worker.

2) Be a proud person.

6:3 “without a stumbling block”

If you usually go to church, you hide the Bible, and when you ask, ‘Where are you going?’, the person who answers “here,” who receives grace and meets people, uses it as an opportunity for evangelism, and tries to lead them to Jesus by saying, ‘Let’s go to church for lunch’.

3) Endure suffering and persecution.

As in 6:4-9, the grace given by the Lord has a greater weight than the suffering and persecution of the world, so we do not take issue with it so much, we deal with it resolutely and persevere. 2 Timothy 3:12 “Everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ will suffer persecution.”

4) Have joy instead of worry.

In verses 4-9, the story of suffering and persecution is introduced.
