Title: Grace of Jesus / John 1:14-17

Contents The Grace of Jesus / John 1:14-17

The God we believe in is a God who is rich in grace. God, who is rich in grace, delights in giving grace to humans who were created in His image. There is not one thing in this world that does not have the grace of God. It is only that God has given us grace, but we do not understand the grace.

However, there are many people who have realized the grace of God. Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, David, Daniel, etc. Those who have received this special grace are not the only ones who have received this grace. God gives grace to the wicked and even to those who do not understand. If a person does not receive God's grace, he will not be able to live a single day.

In spite of receiving such grace, God laments when he sees those who are not thankful. Genesis 6:5-8 "When the LORD saw that man's iniquity was so great in the world, and that all the plans of his heart were only evil all the time, he lamented that he had created man on the earth, and he was grieved in his heart, saying, "I will bring man whom I created from the face of the earth. "And from man to cattle and to creeping things and to birds of the air, because I grieved that I had made them." But Noah found favor with the LORD."

People who did not understand God's grace and did not thank God lived with sin, but Noah received God's grace and feared God. Those who receive God's grace will live, and those who do not receive God's grace will have no choice but to die in judgment.

So what is grace?

Grace ( ): Mercy, kindness, or grace given to someone who does not deserve it.

So, who is the Jesus we believe in? Who is Jesus, who came as the Messiah of sinners and the Savior? He is rich in grace. What kind of grace are you rich in?

1. He is rich in grace received from God.

:14 "The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the Spirit of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." In other words, when we saw Christ who became flesh and came to this world and was with us, God is full of the grace of redemption to save His chosen people through Christ.

When we saw Jesus who left the glorious throne in heaven and was with us, he was full of the grace of God's love and the grace of God's mercy toward his chosen people.

Here we must realize the true meaning of God's grace. Everything we receive from God is grace. Among them, the beautiful things, the good things, the happy things, the abundant things, the things admired by all, health, wisdom, and many things to be thankful for are grace, needless to say. The benefit of the natural rains given to us is by the grace of God. It is the grace of grace, needless to say, that all our sins are forgiven and saved.

But the grace that the Lord received is not such a grace. He says that grace was full of things that we thought were not grace if we were careful. What is that? It tells us that you forsaken the glory of heaven and came into the world. He said that it was grace that he came in the body of a sinner, not the Queen Mother, and that it is also grace full of truth.

You should know that this is the other side of grace that we believers always forget. We know that it is only grace that we become sinners and receive God's grace and go to heaven, but we must not overlook the fact that living with sinners in order to save them by being humbled is no less grace than going to heaven.

Let us not think that the persecutions, hardships, and hardships that the Lord received because He believed and loved Him are not grace. Because we believe in the Lord and live, we cannot deceive others and we cannot commit false deeds, so we live truthfully, but there are times when we suffer losses. In times like these, you should not think that you have been punished, but that you have received grace. For the sake of the Lord, suffering from living according to His word is grace.

This is what the Lord said to His disciples, "(Matthew 5:11) Blessed are you when they curse and persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me." And when he spoke of the grace that the disciples would receive when they left everything and followed the Lord, "(Mark 10:30) In a short time you will receive a hundredfold more houses, brothers and sisters, mothers and children and lands, with persecutions, There is no one who will not receive eternal life." Just as eternal life is grace, so it is also grace to suffer persecution and suffering.

Saints! To become a saint who wrote the correct answer about grace, we must say that we have received grace even when we are blessed with God and that we have received grace even when we are in a difficult situation.

2. Jesus is rich in grace given to us.

Jesus is not only full of the grace received from God, but also full of God's grace to be given to us.

When explaining the word grace in relation to Christ, it should be said, ?t should be said that he had mercy on sinners and freely offered them salvation, which he accomplished by giving up his heavenly throne and becoming a man and dying in his stead.??Luke 4:18- 19 The Spirit of the Lord has come upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor and has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and restoration of sight to the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor. to do it.??

This is another grace. The Lord came as a man and died on the cross to save sinners. In other words, the grace that the Lord received from God lies in the fact that many sinners have been saved through Him. In other words, it is not the grace that you received, but the grace that the Lord has that others are saved by giving.

It is grace that we have received a gift from someone. However, you should know that giving to others is also a grace no less than that. So the Lord said, "(Matthew 10:42) And whoever gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones in the name of a disciple, truly I say to you, that person will by no means lose his reward." (Acts) 20:35) In everything I have set an example for you, that in this way you work to help the weak, and remember that the Lord Jesus Himself said, ?t is more blessed to give than to receive.??save sinners You have given food, you have healed, you have given love, and you have given the grace of comfort and comfort to those who are despised and forsaken. The Lord said that He gave and gave to sinners and to all kinds of humans. And even gave life. Therefore, looking at the truth, the grace that the Lord emphasized is that He is teaching the grace to be given as a greater grace than the grace received.

3. What should we do with the grace we have received?

?cts 20:24 I do not regard my life as of any value in any way so that I may finish my course and the mission I received from the Lord Jesus to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.??

After contemplating, she asked the pianist who had just arrived for an interview. She confessed her mistake while crying in front of the list. And he was waiting for the rebuke he deserved. But Liszt said, "Obviously you've made a very big mistake, but we all make mistakes. When I see you come to me and confess, I think I've repented of my mistake. Let me hear you play now?" said. The girl was so happy that playing in front of the master was terrifying at first, but she played with confidence. After Liszt made a few corrections, he said, "I've taught you a little now. You can go to the concert tomorrow night. The last chapter will be played by the teacher, not the student." The concert ended successfully, and the teacher and student were praised and honored by everyone. A pianist named Liszt gave a favor to a poor girl. The poor girl was favored. And they were glorified together.

But how can this grace be compared to the grace of Christ? It is only a very small amount compared to the grace of Christ bestowed upon us who do not deserve it.

Jesus endured hardship, contempt, and suffering in order to give us all the grace of God that should be given to us. In the end, he shed every drop of his own water and blood and gave up his life.

We too must do our best to give grace to those who need our grace.

Is your spirit dry? Come to Jesus. He will give you the living water of grace that will never thirst. Are you suffering from heartache? Come to Jesus. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. What's the problem? Sin, business,... Come to Jesus and ask Him, Jesus is full of grace to give us. And know that giving rather than receiving is grace, not happiness but suffering. There is nothing in this world that is not the grace of God. And pray for God's grace. You must know that peace is grace, but suffering is also grace.

If you give grace to those in need, you will know that the grace you give is happier than the grace you hope for.
