Title: Grace that fell on the valley

Grace on the Valley (Psalm 23:1-6)
Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and your staff, they comfort me (Psalm 23:4).
The poet Emerson said of success in his poem “What Is Success?”
Make the world a better place
make and leave
Because he once lived here
Making even one person happy
This is real success.
We think of success as being ahead of others and rising above others. When I looked at the statistics of people who succeeded early in various university research institutes, statistics came out that people who succeeded early die early. A survey of the lifespans of 147 American baseball players who were inducted into the Hall of Fame found that they died five years earlier than the average player. Popes, company presidents, and prime ministers of each country also say that those who succeeded early at an early age died quickly. The newspaper that published this article asks this question. “If the price of success is to die early, what value is it?” A person's success does not consist in going before others and reaching higher than others. The true success of a person is to keep going without giving up on the right path. Along the way, sometimes you stand on the top and sometimes you stand in the valley. People think that being at the top is the only way to succeed, but even when you are in a valley, if you are going on the right path without stopping, you are a successful person.
It is God who made us stand on the top, and it is God who made us stand in the valley. It is God's grace to be at the top, but if you continue to follow God's word without being disappointed even in the valley, your life is a successful one. David lived a life of ups and downs in which his life was repeated with peaks and valleys. However, at the end of his life, looking back on his life, he realized that God's grace was greater when his life was in a valley. Being in the valley is not a curse, nor is it evidence that God has left me. The Apostle Paul was ill and prayed to God to heal him. Then God answered, “Your grace is sufficient for you.” The sickness was also given by God's grace.
Don't be discouraged when you think my life is in a valley. There is God's grace. When you are in the valley, do your best in the work given there, and go to God one step at a time. Pray while you are in the valley. Praise. Read the Bible. Have a worship service. It will be the Valley of Grace.
