grace to our home
(Genesis 2:18-25; Ephesians 5:28-33)
December is the season of life with Christmas. Because the little life born in Bethlehem saved all lives. January is the season of time. The old time has passed and a new time has begun. Three weeks have passed since the start of the new year, but the excitement of the beginning still remains. (...) With that in mind, I asked to live one year, and on the first Sunday, I told him to “live seven years as if it were a few days because of love. Last week, I suggested planting good seeds with that kind of heart. (...) Today, I am going to talk about prayer for the family with the meaning of taking care of and loving the precious family with such a heart. (...)
Last year, our families suffered from lottery craze, cohabitation craze, homosexuality and swapping, falling fertility rates, and the divorce rate reaching 37.4%. (...) “I love you sweetheart”, “Thank you”, “You are awesome.” We need to revive the emotions and words buried deep in our hearts. (...) We want to make it a year that not only impresses customers but also impresses families. The family was created by God. Schools and businesses start at home. When the home closes, all the doors in the world close. In the old days, even when selecting kings or priests, they aimed to come from good families. Even today's church office must be a person from a healthy family. (...)
1. Christian Marriage
Any religion or ideology mentions marriage. But nothing speaks more deeply about the meaning of marriage than Christianity. So some even say that marriage originated in Christianity. (...) In Genesis 1, God created a man and a woman. (...) In Genesis 2, God made a woman from Adam's rib. Ephesians 5 teaches that husbands love their wives, that men and women are one as Christ and the church are one. Revelation 19 refers to the wedding feast of the Lamb (Jesus Christ) and says that the purpose of history is the marriage of the Lamb. (...) Marriage to the Lamb is a vision in which the glory of God shines like the sun and the truth of Christ shines like a lamp. The ultimate ideal and great goal of Christianity is marriage to the Lamb. (...)
2. To have God's grace in our home...
There are many stories of families in the Bible. (...) There is a Rahab family (Joshua 2:1-14). Rahab was a prostitute from Jericho. However, he became the father of David and his name was listed in the genealogy of Jesus. She was a woman who lived by faith (Hebrews 11:31). Those who have faith in God receive grace. (...) Cornelius's family was a God-fearing family. Although Cornelius was a centurion in the occupying power, he repented and accepted the Lord without boasting of honor or power. There was a heart longing for the Lord in that heart. There is God's grace in these families. (...) God's grace must be in our homes. When I become a wife (husband) and mother (father), God's grace overflows to me and my family. - Amen
