Title: Graceful Church Life (Ephesians 2:19-22)
Contents
① “Graceful church life” is a life of sanctification of one's own body and building a temple of the body through the community life of faith in the church. ② If you are not living this life, no matter what great things you do, you are not living a gracious church life.
“To live on the foundation of the apostles and prophets” (verse 20).
“It is to live the cornerstone.”
① As the saying goes, “Christ Jesus Himself has become the cornerstone”, Jesus becomes the sanctification of the body, the foundation stone of the temple of the body, and the cornerstone of the sanctification of the body and the building of the temple of the body. ② Jesus regenerates us by means of grace, creation, redemption, and the inspiration of the truth, and establishes it as a temple, and works to build the whole body of sanctification and body temple on the foundation of this regeneration. ③ Therefore, any human construction that is not built on Jesus Christ and is not built on Jesus Christ collapses like a building built without a foundation stone. ④ The life of the saints is the cornerstone, just as Jesus, who is the very essence of God, became a man in the form of a servant and became the cornerstone through suffering and sacrifice on the cross, so we too, serve the Lord and the church from the position of servants, It is to serve as a cornerstone to achieve salvation.
“It is a life of building the temple by connecting each building in the Lord. ” (verse 21)
① The church is an organic community of regenerated saints. ② Between the clergy and the saints, among the officers and the lay faithful, and among the various kinds of people, they build the sanctification of the body and the temple of the body by forming religious personal fellowship and give-and-take relationship in the Lord. ③ God’s work of salvation is done through organic relationships between people. Through the seniors of faith, through the juniors, through the righteous, sinners, the healthy, the rich, the educated… the sick, the poor, and the ignorant. He works to save... ④ The salvation of the saints comes from the clash of character and personality. Seeing the deeds of the righteous and good, the sinner throws away sin and unrighteousness and becomes a righteous man. Seeing the deeds of sinners and wicked people, if I make a mistake, I will become such a sinner and a wicked person. to live to prevent
“It is a life devoted to building the dwelling place of God” (verse 22).
