Title: Grain and weeds (Matthew 13:23-30)
Contents
①Autumn is the season when grain and weeds are clearly visible, and it is the season to gather grain and bring it into a barn, and gather the weeds and throw them into the fire. ② This autumn, we deserve grace as we ponder the Lord's parable of the grain and weeds.
First, the grain and the weeds
①The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, the field is the world, the good seed are the sons of the kingdom of heaven, the weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the reapers are the angels (37-40) ②As it was said (37-40), the grain The people of sanctification that keep coming and growing, that is, the sons of heaven, the true people who are the sons of God, and the weeds are the descendants of the first fallen Adam who were united with the devil, the sons of the devil, the old people of destruction, and the wicked. ③ As such, there are two kinds of people in the individual of the saints. ④ The Lord of salvation does the work of creating and growing the true man in us, and the devil does the work of creating and growing the wicked.
Second, the production of grain and tares.
① The birth and growth of grains and tares is accomplished in the reality that the regenerated saints contact people and all things with their ears, eyes and body. ②When he sacrifices his life and all his possessions as a living sacrifice to obey the “word of God,” which he has received, which is the seed of grain, in the reality of meeting him, a son of heaven will be born and grow, and if he obeys the words of “the devil,” he will become the devil. People are born and grow. ③ The weeds are the devil’s words like the word of God, the weeds are unbelief like faith, unbelievers like believers, untruth like truth, and humanists like neo-capitalism.
Third, measures against grain and weeds
① The reality that the saints pass through moment by moment in their life is the field and food in which “seeds of grain and weeds” are planted and grown. ②There is only one food, but there are two kinds of seeds that eat this food. ③The present, which consists of oneself, others, one's own time, all possessions, and all things that come into contact with it, is the reality, the world, the historical world, the field in which grains and weeds are planted, and food. ④ In this reality, the word of God is planted, the field where the seed of the word grows, becomes food for manure, and the sons of heaven are born and grow, but when the weed seed is planted and grown, the children of hell are born and grow. ⑤ The farmer who sows grain seeds is the Lord, and the farmer who sows weeds is the devil. These weed seeds can only be sown when the saints are sleeping. ⑥ Therefore, the saints must always be awake, find the weeds, and pluck, break, and destroy the weeds.
Fourth, are you a grain believer? Are you a believer in tares?
① Verification of words and deeds that are not driven by the inspiration of truth, prayer, devotion, donation, service, fellowship, and evangelism… all grow as weeds. ② What am I currently growing into? ③ The tares believers torment the grain believers, but they become the objects of the grain believers and are later abandoned. ④ In the church, grain believers and weed believers always coexist. ⑤ However, when the judgment time for the harvest comes, the grain is gathered and entered into the treasury of heaven, and the weeds go into the unquenchable fire of hell.
