Title [7.2] Gratitude is an ability
Content br> (John 11:40-44, 6:10-13)
It can be said that we are a generation that has lost gratitude by teaching the times we live in. In 2 Timothy 3:2, “People love themselves, they love money, they are proud, proud, slanderers, disobedient to their parents, unthankful, unholy.” We are talking about a time of gratitude. Even today, we are stingy with gratitude. You can see the phenomenon of disappointment rather than gratitude for parents, teachers, and benefactors.
In Colossians 3:15 it says, “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which you were called in one body, and ye be thankful.” that life has to be lived. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 also says, “In everything give thanks, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” This verse also says that thanksgiving is God’s will. All of the Chinese characters in the world are Beom and Ilsa. It means to be thankful for all things and situations, and it means that we should not lose our gratitude in both times of joy and in situations of lamentation. Because living without gratitude is a sin.
So, why does God tell us to give thanks in everything? The reason is because of 堅? This is because thanksgiving is the driving force behind God's power in our lives. According to the text of the text, three days after Lazarus died, Jesus came and told him to move the stone gate. And Jesus lifted up his eyes and looked up and said, Father, I thank you that you have heard me, and I pray. What is this situation? In front of the corpse, you are saying things that are difficult to understand with common sense. It was a prayer of thanksgiving to God. It is a story that Lazarus had not yet risen, but nevertheless, I believed that God had already answered me and gave thanks. What we can learn from the image of the Lord is that we need to be sure that God already hears our prayers. The Lord's prayer of thanksgiving became the power to save Lazarus from the dead.
In Chapter 6 of the main text, we see the words of the five loaves, Jesus works the miracle of feeding tens of thousands of people with two fish and five barley loaves. You can see him congratulating him. In other words, a blessing is a prayer of thanksgiving. That prayer of thanks caused a wonderful miracle. This is the power of gratitude. Please remember that even when there are resentments and complaints, that moment is a golden opportunity to experience history with thanksgiving to God.
Gratitude that can move the heart of God has the power of healing and restoration. Gratitude has the power to bring blessings. Gratitude has the power to change lives. Therefore, I pray that you will not lose your gratitude by discerning God's will and providence in any situation and environment. So, I pray in the name of the Lord that you will be able to experience the power of thanksgiving as in today's words in the places of my life where you live.
