Title: Gratitude is to glorify God
Contents
God's Favorite Fruit
Apology - reconciliation, forgiveness
Sense - thanks; Thank you for the favor you have been given
How many sins have been forgiven?
How much grace are you living with gratitude for?
I hope this will be a time to examine yourself, ask for forgiveness, and give thanks.
If you are looking for the person who received the most blessings in the Bible, of course it would be Solomon.
I offer a thousand burnt offerings and pray to God.
Solomon's Prayer (1 Kings 3:6-13): Then Solomon said, "Your servant David my father walked with you before you in faithfulness, justice, and uprightness of heart, so you showed me great favor, and you You have prepared this great grace for me, and you have given me a son to sit on his throne as it is today. O LORD my God, you have made your servant king in place of your father David, but you are a small child, and do not know how to go in or out. I am among the people you have taken away. They are a great people, and they are too numerous to be counted or written down. Who can judge this great people of Yours? Give your servant a wise heart to judge Your people, to discern between good and evil.
What Solomon asked for was in God's heart.
Solomon asked for this, and the word was satisfied with the Lord's heart. Then God said to him, "You ask for this. You do not ask for water for yourself, nor riches, nor do you seek the destruction of the life of your enemies, but you have listened to accusations and sought the wisdom of discernment. I will do as you say, and I will give you a heart of wisdom and understanding. There was no one like you before, and there will be no one like you after you. And I also give you riches and glory that you did not ask for, and there will be no one like you among kings in your lifetime.
The blessing is to receive even what you did not ask for.
In Solomon's prayer, thanksgiving comes first.
Thank you for the kindness you gave to your father David, and for giving me the confidence to rise to the throne for generations to come.
Expressing herself as Little Aira, she asks her thanks for being able to become a king.
So he seeks wisdom to rule the people.
First, thank God for what you want and ask for what you want.
Even the things that we did not ask for (wealth and glory) are given to us because we ask for things that are pleasing to God's heart.
Gratitude is the way to receive blessings.
- Purity is achieved through faith and obedience
The text also mentions a person who is blessed with thanksgiving.
On the way to Jerusalem, Jesus stops by a village and 10 lepers shout at him. ‘Jesus Teacher, have mercy on us’
Lepers had to live in isolation (Leviticus 13:45-46), so they stood at a distance and cried out when they saw Jesus.
When Jesus saw them, he said, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.”
When they were all washed, they met the priest and offered a gift corresponding to it.
I had to get better, but I was able to meet the priest.
But they were cleansed along the way.
He saw them and took pity on them.
Luke 10 The Good Samaritan “Who is your neighbor?” Seeing a man who had been robbed
Priest - see and pass by
Levite - see and pass by
Samaritan - sees and takes pity on him and helps him
Help begins with seeing, pitying, and showing compassion.
Just as Jesus had compassion on them, he also has compassion on us who are sinners.
When they heard the word of Jesus, believed and obeyed him, they could be cleansed.
Even we who are sinners are cleansed.
So far, it cannot be seen as a true blessing.
If it is a blessing to be physically healed, it can be called a blessing, but it is not a true blessing because all 10 people have been healed.
Even those of us who are poor and weak may be isolated, separated, bullied, and faced with difficulties by meeting Jesus, and it will be resolved.
By believing and obeying Jesus, you can be healed and overcome difficulties.
However, it is true that this is not a true blessing.
- A true blessing
One of ten lepers who are healed turns to Jesus.
They glorified God with a loud voice and returned to Jesus to give thanks.
Thank you.

Jesus asks
“Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the nine? Has no one returned to glorify God except these Gentiles?”
“Rise and go, for your faith has saved you.”
Only one Samaritan returned to thank him.
The Samaritans were Gentiles.
All the Jews who believed and knew God went home when they saw that they were healed.
Only one had a heart to glorify and thank God.
The ultimate goal of healing is to be saved.
The real blessing is to be saved.
The ultimate purpose for us to believe in Jesus, obey Him, and live according to His Word is salvation.
When the direction of your life goes toward Jesus Christ, you can walk the path of salvation that comes from Jesus Christ and receive the true joy of salvation.
It is done through gratitude.
You must believe, obey, and even give thanks to Jesus to receive true blessings.
Then you will receive even the salvation you did not ask for.
This is the secret of gratitude.
- true thanks
The secret of gratitude is to receive even what you did not ask for.
This is a blessing, and that blessing comes through thanksgiving.
Just as Solomon, who asked for wisdom, obtained wealth and glory when he asked for it with thanksgiving.
Gratitude is the master key of every word and action.
Giving thanks is usually thought of as a thank-you offering.
Can you give me the material only? One of the most convenient expressions of gratitude is giving a donation.

It is an expression of gratitude.
Psalm 50:23 Those who offer sacrifices of thanksgiving glorify me; to those who do their deeds right, I will show the salvation of God.
You can glorify God through thanksgiving.
Like a leper who glorified and gave thanks to God
We must go beyond the stage of being healed through faith and having our difficulties resolved, and reach the stage of salvation through thanksgiving.
I hope you will know the secret of gratitude and become a person of faith who can truly give thanks.
