Title - Gratitude That Changes Us

Bible - Psalm 50:22-23

In 2009, the Thanksgiving service will be held on the third week of this year as well.

Today, as we prepare for Thanksgiving, we would like to share the grace of thanksgiving.

If there is one ugliest, toughest person in the world, it is the complainer. He must be a person who can't stop talking.

So, we believers should live with gratitude for even the smallest things.

If you give thanks, God will bless you and change your life.

1, Gratitude faith makes my personality more mature.

Example - Prayer of Thanksgiving

A German Ayr country farmer came to the city for business and then went to a restaurant to eat.

When the meal we ordered came out, we prayed thanks and ate.

Those who looked like bullies who watched this said, ‘Sir, do all the people in your neighborhood pray and eat like that?’

A country farmer - no, pigs eat without praying.'

It was a derogatory remark on the character of those who were not thankful.

(Ephesians 5:4) “There is no need for filthiness, foolish speech, or slanderous words; turn around and speak words of thanksgiving.”

2, Gratitude faith makes my life more blessed.

(2 Chronicles 20:20-23) “[20] So the people got up early and went out into the field of Tekoa. As they were going out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, you inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem; trust in the Lord your God, and you will be strong. [21] They counseled with the people, and they chose singers, clothed in holy robes, and walked before the army, praising the LORD, saying, Give thanks to the LORD, for his mercy endures forever. [22] At the beginning of the song and the hymn, the LORD set ambush against the people of Ammon, and Moab, and the people of Seir, who came to attack Judah, and they were defeated. [23] So Ammon and the children of Moab rose up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir and destroyed them. And after destroying the inhabitants of Seir, they slaughtered one another.”

The people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir came up against Judah, and the people were terrified, but fearful.

But I trusted God, trusted the prophet, and went out with thanks and praise. Result - God struck them and destroyed them.

When we give thanks, it means that God works and blesses us.

Yehwa-Silver Coins from Bread

During a famine in Germany, a rich man gathered poor children and gave them bread. In this sack there are loaves of bread for you to take one by one, so please take only one and I will give you the bread when you come again tomorrow.

As soon as the children heard the words, they rushed to the sack, picked up a large loaf of bread from each other, and frantically ran home.

A little girl named Gretchen stands still, picks up the last little loaf of bread, and gives thanks to her grandfather. I said goodbye and went home. The next day, just like yesterday, the children were busy picking up bread and going home.

Gretchen took the smallest loaf of bread left last, thanked him, and when he returned home and broke the loaf to share with his mother, there were six 50-cent silver coins in it.

When Gretchen took the silver coin from the bread to the old man, he said:

Give a reward to a good person who knows how to thank

Dear saints,

When we give thanks in any circumstance, God is blessed

So we don't complain, we give thanks.

(2 Corinthians 4:15) “All things are done for you, so that grace may overflow through the thanksgiving of many, to the glory of God.”

3, A grateful faith heals my problems.

The Lord healed 10 lepers. But only one person was healed and came to the Lord and thanked Him.

Then the Lord saved him. He not only healed the sick, he also healed the soul. fixed his life.

how ? Because thank you.

Gratitude changes my life. Gratitude changes my life. Gratitude is an amazing thing that heals all my problems.

Dear saints,

What's wrong with you guys? Thank you, and all problems will be healed.

4, the faith to be grateful for makes my life beautiful.

To live a life of eternal joy

Rather than raising the IQ and emotional quotient, the appreciation quotient should be increased.

Some people live in a luxurious palace-like house, complaining and dissatisfaction about why life is so painful, while others are grateful and happy even though they live in a small house. In order to live a life of happiness, we need to raise our gratitude index rather than IQ and emotional index.

Yehwa- It is said that President Roosevelt of the United States was extremely nearsighted.

He always carried two glasses in his pocket.

One was magnifying glasses used to read a book, and the other was glasses used to see distant objects up close.

For Roosevelt, carrying two pairs of glasses may have been a little cumbersome.

One day, Roosevelt was giving a public address to an audience.

Then someone pointed a gun at him while he was speaking on the podium.

When the gunshot was heard, the audience was chaotic and Roosevelt was shot and collapsed on the spot. The sniper was later identified as a young man named Sherenk.

However, Roosevelt got up quickly with only minor injuries to his body.

Schlenk was aimed precisely at Roosevelt's heart, but it turned out that the bullet hit the steel glasses Roosevelt had always carried, deflected and bounced off. It is said that Roosevelt began to appreciate the glasses store he had carried around while he was annoyed in the eerie situation.

Small and annoying things like this can save our lives.

Today's irritating, exhausting and stressful work

Doesn't it keep us and our family life going?

Gratitude for the little things will make our lives more peaceful.

A grateful soul is a beautiful soul, and a grateful person is a fragrant person. What is more beautiful and fragrant than flowers is the heart of gratitude.

A life attitude of gratitude along with love is the greatest virtue of a Christian.

A song is not a song until it is sung, a bell is not a bell until it rings, love is not love until it is expressed, and a blessing is not a blessing until it is thankful.

You should express your gratitude to God.

Dear saints,

Do you want to be truly happy in your life? Then live a life of gratitude.

Happiness and joy will abound, and misery will pass away.

Complaining brings unhappiness, gratitude brings joy.

Gratitude is what makes our lives happy.

Let's pray that this Thanksgiving service will be a beautiful and happy worship full of thanksgiving.

(Psalm 50:23) “He who offers a sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifies me; to him who does the right thing I will show the salvation of God.”
