Title (II) Gratitude that pleases God (Ephesians 1:3~14)
Contents
“Blessed be the praises,” because the grace and blessings received are so great, the grateful heart exploded with praise.
“I was grateful for the spiritual blessings that belong to the heavens.”
“If you know the value of divine blessings, you will become gratitude that transcends time and space and reality.”
① “Praise be to you” is a letter Paul wrote while in prison in Rome. ② He did not go to prison for sinning or doing bad things, but rather the gospel movement to save mankind. It is worth complaining, dissatisfaction, and resentment at the position of the body, but I am grateful and thrilled because all the spiritual blessings in heaven are so precious, precious, and glorious. The reality of setting people free and preaching the gospel only to please God, but instead of being treated, they were beaten hard, locked up and thrown into a deep prison. Even though it was the darkest reality, they gave thanks and praised God at night. Those who know the blessings will become people of gratitude for all weather conditions, and those who live in the happiness of heaven in the world.
“The thanksgiving that God receives is the thanksgiving that begins with spiritual blessings”
① Gratitude for general worldly and material grace is not lasting and incomplete. ② Because general grace is changed to Jobyeonseokgae, when you are healthy, when you are wealthy, when you are victorious and successful… you are grateful, but when you are on the other side, you complain and become discouraged. ③ However, knowing the grace of spiritual blessings, the gratitude that comes from this is eternal and unchanging, and in general, when things are going well, we are thankful, but when we are not, we become grateful. ④ Therefore, Job, knowing the value of spiritual blessings, said, "The LORD gave and the LORD took away; blessed be the name of the LORD" (Job 1:21). ⑤ This is because when God gives us all spiritual blessings in heaven, He has given us material things and has taken them back. “Rejoice always and give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5:5-17)
“One must be thankful for spiritual blessings to become fully blessed.”
① General grace and blessings are tools, materials, materials, and shells that give spiritual blessings. ② Therefore, those who know the value of spiritual blessings and are equipped with a faith personality do not receive the general blessings of the world, but because they are given to them forever and ever, the stability of food, clothing and shelter is achieved in the world. ③ However, those who do not know the value of spiritual blessings and pursue only material blessings of the world after the lusts of the flesh, in order to receive spiritual blessings, they give and take materials as needed, so they are not stable in their material life. not done ④ Therefore, “Seek ye first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” (Matthew 6:33), and he said, “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth” (Matthew 5). :5) Said.
“Let’s cultivate a heart of gratitude for the grace that has given us spiritual blessings”
① “You must keep the feasts to me the third time every year…” (Ex 23:14~19) was to commemorate the grace of the Passover, Pentecost, and Ingathering. ② Humans have the ability to forget even though they have received heavenly grace. Because of this, we forget the grace of God, so we must keep chewing the cud for spiritual blessings, so that our hearts are always filled with gratitude ③ Those who give thanks to God will become loyal to God and receive God's blessings.
