Those who have grown up in the world are those who are full of the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. These are the wise, the mighty, and the nobles according to the flesh. The greatest of these is the king of the world. These are the people of the world who have inherited the inheritance in this life, and those who have already been judged.
As it is written, “Of judgment, because the king of this world has been judged” (John 16:11).
The Bible says, “Lord, deliver me by your hand from the people of this world, who have received their portion in this life, for he is filled with thy riches, and is satisfied with his children, and he passes on the rest of his inheritance to his little children” (Psalms). 17:14) and also, “Behold, these are the wicked; they are always at peace, and they have riches” (Psalm 73:12).
And as the Lord Himself said, “If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but the world hates you, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world” (John 15:19). Because everything in this world is the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life.
Regarding this, it is said, “The devil took Jesus up again, and in an instant he showed all the kingdoms of the world, saying, I will give you all these powers and their glory, and since it has been handed over to me, I am giving it to whomever I want” (Luke 4:5-6). .
Therefore, those who are of this world belong to the devil, and those who are of the other world are from the Holy Spirit. It is written, “For this reason the children of God and the children of the devil are revealed, for anyone who does not practice righteousness, or who does not love his brother, is not of God” (1 John 3:10).
He who has received the righteousness of God, that is, forgiveness and love in Christ Jesus, but does not practice righteousness, or who does not love his brother, does not belong to God and does not have the Holy Spirit in him. As it is written, “These are party-makers, natural, and without the Holy Spirit” (Jude 1:19).
Those who are great in the kingdom of God are not like the kings of the world who fulfill greed, but are the royal priests of the kingdom of God, the kings of righteousness and the kings of peace. It is written, “You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the goodness of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9). ) is the same as Hashim. These are those who have the heart of the Christ of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is also like it is written, “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest” (Matthew 11:29).
Therefore, those of Christ Jesus, who have become kings with Christ, will rule the nations with Christ, the King of righteousness, with the iron rod of God's righteousness, which is forgiveness and love. It is as it is written, “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink, so that you will heap coals of coals on his head” (Romans 12:20).
Therefore, the kings of this world and the kings of that world are different. The kings of this world are the kings of pride and pride, and the kings of the other world are the kings of meekness and humility. But there are many worldly kings who like to be first in the worldly church.
According to the written word, “I wrote a few men to the church, but Diotrephes, who liked to be first among them, did not receive us” (3 John 1:9). Many abominations of perdition, which they love to be, stand where they cannot stand.
In the end, both the lawgiver and the judge will judge on that day, but as the Lord said, "Whoever wishes to be first among you must be slave of all" (Mark 10:44), those who are of this world We are just learning the Lord today, taking on the yoke of the Lord of meekness and humbleness.
