Title: Grow Your Faith (2)
Contents
Faith includes faith that confesses that Jesus is Lord, faith that saves from blood ailments and storms, environment, and faith that ultimately saves souls. In the Bible, how did so many people of faith live and go? Have you been living in disbelief? It is recorded. Let's look at the confessions and reactions of people of great faith and little faith.
1. great faith
1) You can call me a dog, if only I could save my daughter.
Matthew 15:21 Jesus went out from there and went into the regions of Tire and Sidon.
Matthew 15:22 A Canaanite woman came out of that border and cried out, saying, “Lord, Son of David, have pity on me, for my daughter is terribly possessed of a demon.”
Matthew 15:23 Jesus didn't answer a word, so the disciples came and begged him, saying, "Send her away, for the woman is screaming behind us.
Matthew 15:24 Jesus answered and said, I am not sent anywhere except the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Matthew 15:25 The woman came and bowed down to Jesus, saying, "Lord, help me.
Matthew 15:26 He answered and said, It is not lawful to take the children's bread and toss it to the dogs.
Matthew 15:27 The woman said to her, "Surely, Lord, even dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master's table."
Matthew 15:28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, “Woman, great is your faith, and it will be done for you as you wish.” And from that hour her daughter was healed.
Matthew 15:29 Jesus departed from there and came to the shore of the Sea of Galilee, and went up to the mountain and sat there.
Matthew 15:30 A great crowd brought the lame, the crippled, the blind, the dumb and many others, and put them at Jesus' feet and healed them.
Matthew 15:31 When the crowds saw that the dumb spoke, and the crippled sound, the lame walking, and the blind seeing, they marveled, and glorified the God of Israel.
? How much did this Syrobonige woman struggle for her beloved daughter? How miserable would a mother's heart be if you think about how evil spirits take in bubbles, lose her reason, and become a crazy woman who wanders around the neighborhood while being captured by ghosts? Although a Canaanite family and an enemy of the nation of Israel, this woman hears the news of Jesus and falls at Jesus' feet. Lord help me! called the Lord
Jesus uses personal attacks and verbal assaults on such a woman to be savage. But what is the confession that comes out of the woman's mouth? Even the crumbs falling from the master's table are fine, so he asks to heal the children. Ordinary people would just go away swearing because they were dirty. Those who have tasted the history of the five bowl fish, those who have enjoyed the history of the seven fish fish, those who shouted Hosanna and the 12 disciples of Jesus turned their backs on the betrayal at the last minute, admitting that this woman is a lowly, dog-like woman. Jesus said to this woman that you have great faith, and your wishes will come true.
Therefore, faith does not depend on blood relatives, but on status, not on how much you depend on Jesus. Such belief makes you a spiritual master. In contrast to this belief, let's look at the faith of Jesus' disciples.
2. Little faith
1) If I drown and die, will Jesus also die?
Matthew 8:23 When he got into the boat, his disciples followed him.
Matthew 8:24 A great tumult arose in the sea, and waves covered the boat, but Jesus was sleeping.
Matthew 8:25 His disciples came and woke him up, saying, "Lord, save us, for we are perishing."
Matthew 8:26 Jesus said to them, "Why are you afraid, you of little faith?" Then he got up and rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.
8:27 And the men marveled, saying, What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him
2) Even beside the waves of tribulation, Jesus is there.
Matthew 14:22 Jesus immediately urged the disciples to get into the boat and go ahead to the other side while he sent the crowd away.
Matthew 14:23 After he had sent the crowd away, he went up by himself to a mountain to pray, and he was alone there at sunset
Matthew 14:24 The boat had already departed from the shore, and the wind was against it, and it was afflicted by the waves.
Matthew 14:25 In the fourth quarter of the night, Jesus came to the disciples walking on the sea.
Matthew 14:26 When the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were astonished and called it a ghost, and cried out in fear.
Matthew 14:27 Immediately Jesus spoke to him and said to them, “Take heart, it is I; do not be afraid.
Matthew 14:28 Peter answered and said, "Lord, if it is given to you, command me to come to you on the water."
Matthew 14:29 "Come." So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water to Jesus.
Matthew 14:30 When he saw the wind, he was afraid and fell away, and he cried out, "Lord, save me."
Matthew 14:31 Immediately Jesus stretched out his hand and took hold of him, saying, "You of little faith, why did you doubt?"
Matthew 14:32 They went into the boat together, and the wind stopped.
Matthew 14:33 And those in the boat bowed down to Jesus, saying, Truly, you are the Son of God.
Matthew 14:34 They crossed over and came to the land of Gennesaret.
Matthew 14:35 When the people of that place knew that it was Jesus, they reported all around the area and brought all the sick to Jesus
Matthew 14:36 But I prayed that he might even touch the edge of Jesus' robe, and all who touched it were healed.
3) Have you already forgotten the miracle?
Matthew 16:5 The disciples forgot to take the loaf to the other side.
Matthew 16:6 Jesus said to them, Beware the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
Matthew 16:7 The disciples consulted with one another, saying, "We brought no bread."
Matthew 16:8 Knowing this, Jesus said to him, You of little faith, why do you confer with one another because there is no bread?
Matthew 16:9 Do you not yet understand? How many baskets did you pick up from the five loaves of the five thousand?
Matthew 16:10 Do you not remember how many baskets were taken up after feeding the four thousand with seven loaves?
Matthew 16:11 How do you not understand that what I have said is not about bread? But beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
Matthew 16:12 Then the disciples understood that it was not the leaven of the bread, but that he had been told to heed the teachings of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
? If you die in the storm, will Jesus die too? Disciples who follow Jesus but do not yet know who Jesus is. We also believe in Jesus, but if we fail to look to the Lord who is watching over tribulation and suffering, but only look at the environment and tribulation, we too are the owners of the little faith who cries out that we will die.
Even Peter started looking at Jesus and jumped off the sea, but he cried out at the environment and waves. Although he swore that he would not deny the Lord even if he died, he denied Jesus three times during the interrogation of Bija (maid).
Although Jesus is the bread of life and Jesus is the master of miracles, they worry about the lack of bread. Although Jesus tells us to beware of their own traditions, the teachings of the Pharisees and Sadducees, the focus is not with Jesus.
Jesus always pointed to great faith and little faith. What did he say to the Gentiles and his subordinates who were treated like dogs? He doesn't look at bloodline or origin, he looks at faith.
What is our belief?
Is Bandongari Faith Remaining on Korean Land? Is it a belief towards the world?
Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

If we do not rely on the power of the Holy Spirit, we too will have no choice but to have little faith.
Let's increase our faith with the power of the Holy Spirit through earnestness, mourning, and longing.
I pray that it will become a 40-day early morning prayer requesting with great faith (*)
