Title: Guard your heart/Proverbs 18:14

Content * Guard your heart (Proverbs 18:14)

“More than anything else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life” (Proverbs 4:23).

“A joy of the heart makes the face shine, but a sorrow of the heart bruises the soul” (Proverbs 15:13).

“A happy heart is good medicine, but a troubled spirit dries up the bones” (Proverbs 17:22).

"A man's spirit is able to overcome his sickness, but when the spirit is broken, who can fix it?" (Proverbs 18:14)

There is an old saying that everything in the world depends on your mind.

“More than anything else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.”

No matter what happened yesterday, a person who lives without being affected by it today is a wise person.

As we start a new week, we forget the past,

It should be a week of living in a new hope.

(Example)

Among the famous Daeak students, there was a young man with crutches.

The easy-going young man was very cheerful and optimistic at the same time.

Not only that, he did well in his studies and won many awards, and he was the object of envy, praise, and respect from his fellow classmates.

But one day a friend asked how he had become so crippled.

"Because of polio"

He gave this simple answer.

"But can you tell me the secret of how you manage everything with such confidence and live well?"

My friend asked me to do this.

Then he replied:

"It's not a big deal! It's because the disease didn't even penetrate my heart!"

The problem for us is not that something happened, but that it penetrates our hearts.

I shouldn't lose tomorrow because of my shortcomings or problems I can't fix.

Today and tomorrow are more important to us than yesterday.

Therefore, if today or tomorrow is wrong because of the past, there is no such thing as sad.

“More than anything else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.”

May the coming week be a bright and beautiful week....
