Title: Happiness in Life / Galatians 1:6-10
Contents Happiness in life / Galatians 1:6-10
Our problem is that even though we say we believe in this kind of God, we fall into temptation from time to time. There are times when we fall into human temptation and eventually disobey God's will. This was also the problem with the Galatia church. Paul taught that all men, Jew and Gentile, are saved by faith, and therefore Gentiles are free from Jewish law, but later some came from Jerusalem and taught that Gentile Christians must obey Jewish law. There were many people who were deceived by this and abandoned the first teaching. Indignant at this, Paul said, “Some people are trying to disturb you and change the gospel of Christ.” And it's famous. “Now shall I do good to people? Do you do good to God? Do you seek happiness from people? If I have ever sought the joy of men, I am not a servant of Christ.” We are always at a crossroads of choice. “Will you please God? Will you please people?” The answer is clear. When we please God, we have true happiness and a fulfilling life.
