Title: Happy Anguish John 16:24
Description Someone donated a piano to our church, but there was no one to accompany it. It is now urbanized with apartments, but 16 years ago it was rural, so no one had a piano at home to learn. That is why we declared that we should offer a special early morning prayer for 40 days a week. The title of the prayer was 'Send a piano accompanist'. I prayed every morning, and during the Sunday worship and Wednesday worship, all the church members prayed earnestly. "God! I have a piano, but I don't have an accompanist, so please send it to me.” But even after 40 days, the accompanist did not appear. It has put a lot of pressure and anxiety on me.
Then God gave him wisdom. It was that there was someone to accompany me when I went to piano academy. Fortunately, there was a music academy in Myun, so I knocked on the door and entered. I met the director and asked him to introduce me to a student who would accompany him for only one hour a week because he said he came to our church because he needed a piano accompanist.
Then the director said, “I have a child who can accompany me, but I can’t because I am already serving as an accompanist in another church. All the other children are Buddhists and they are not good enough. So, since I'm a Buddhist, I asked that I only meet the best child once.
Fortunately, I got permission from a girl who was introduced to me that I would practice as long as I could get a hymn.
It's finally Sunday. God answered a special prayer for 40 days, so we had a thrilling worship service with piano accompaniment. Hallelujah!
Even more thankful is the fact that when rumors spread that the student was accompanied by the church, friends and music academy students all flocked to it. As a result, there was a great revival of more than 150 students attending the student council within one year of planting the church. I taught them to play guitar during vacation, and they did field evangelism. And God sent three more accompanists. So, by department, a regular accompanist and an assistant accompanist were set up, posted on the bulletin, and distributed to the neighborhood for evangelism.
I thought a lot back then. I would like to call it happy trouble. It was because I prayed too hard and God sent too many workers, so it was a problem. I hope that you too will pray a lot and fall into happy troubles.
