A family is called a blood-related community. The reason is that the home is the place where people who share blood are intertwined. A family is also called a trust community. This is because it is difficult to establish without trust and mutual trust.
The family was created by God in the beginning. He created Adam, the husband, and Eve, the wife, and provided for them to have a family, and that is the beginning of our family today.
Psalm 128 is one of the songs that the Israelites sang when they went up to the temple to worship God. The background of this song praises the family going up to the temple together, and sings about the grace of God that comes to the family. What is a happy family?
1. It is a family that fears God.
Verse 1 says, “Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord and walks in his ways.” The secret to a happy family is for the whole family to fear God together. And on Sundays, family members come to church together to worship and serve God.
Cornelius, the protagonist of Acts 10, said that he was devout and feared God with all his household (Acts 10:2).
In America in the 1950s, families in formal dresses would gather together in a car and drive to church on Sundays. It was a time when the sanctity and faith of the family reached its peak. In the 1950s, the United States sent the most missionaries to the world, and its political and economic influence was unmatched.
In 1960, the Democratic nominee Kennedy became president. After becoming president, Kennedy banned the traditional prayer and Bible classes in public schools in the name of autonomy. In schools that started with prayer every morning, prayer was eliminated and Bible study was pushed aside. From then on, America began to falter. The children who grew up without prayer turned into rogues and began to see holes in their ethics and morals. Kennedy was assassinated by an extremist sniper.
Happiness is not knowledge, wealth, or beauty, but the fear of God. Blessed are families who serve God together.
2. This is a normal assumption.
Verse 2 says, “You shall eat according to the toil of your hands.” What it means is that families who earn a living in return for fair labor are blessed.
Individuals, families, and countries must be normal. Values must be normal, and how to earn and spend money must be normal. Meetings between men and women should also be normal.
In his letter to the Thessalonian church, Paul wrote, "We have heard that there are some among you who walk without measure, and do not work at all, but make work. We command these people... to work quietly, and eat their own bread" (2 Thessalonians 3:3). 11-12), and if you don't want to work, tell them not to eat (2 Thessalonians 3:10).

Verse 3 says, “Your wife in the inner chambers of your house will be like a fruitful vine, and your children around your table will be like young olive trees.” Boudoir here means home or master bedroom. The home should be the place where the wife is seated, and the children sit around the table and talk about love with Oh Soon Do-soon, and that would be a happy place.
The men who were seeing the advertisement for moving into an apartment in the newspaper were talking to each other. "I don't want to give this apartment for free." 4. It is a family that faces Jerusalem.
Verses 5-6 of the text say, "The Lord bless you in Zion. See the blessings of Jerusalem all the days of your life, and behold the children of your children."
"Zion" is God's earthly dwelling place. Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. And there was a temple. So Israel went up to the temple, and Jerusalem, where the temple was located, was called the holy city.
A family that longs for the temple and a family that longs for spiritual blessings is a happy family. A happy family is a family where the whole family comes to church to worship and receive spiritual blessings on Sundays.
