Title: Happy Meeting! (John 9:1-7)

Subject: "Happy meeting!" (John 9:1-7)

The most important thing in our human life is 'meeting'. How you meet someone determines the content and character of your life. There are people who succeed because they meet good people well, but on the other hand, there are many cases where they fail because they meet the wrong people, and the team is dishonored. So, German thinker and writer Martin Buber said that the true meaning of life is in meeting. The content of his life is determined by the kind of parents he meets when he is young. What kind of friends do you meet next? Also, what kind of teacher do you meet? It also determines the child's future.

Also, what an important meeting when you enter the age of youth! What kind of spouse are you dating? Depending on that, your life will be determined. As such, encounters are important in human life, and today, we would like to receive grace by pondering God's word together under the title "The most important meeting in life, a happy meeting!"

1. There is an unfortunate meeting.

We meet many people in this world. In a way, life is a series of encounters and partings. Life is a life where you have to live with happiness when you meet well, and miserable when you meet wrong. Among the various encounters, there are unfortunate encounters that should not be met. How unfortunate would it be if you met a gangster, a robber, or a human trafficker in a dark alley, a deserted mountain, or a dark alley?

If you look in the Bible, you can see some of the words Jesus heard. A man was going down from Jerusalem to a town called Jericho, where he met a robber and had everything he had taken away, and was abandoned in a state of near death. He shouted, "Help the man," but the passers-by ran away and refused to help him, for fear that they too would encounter the robber. But fortunately, a good-natured Samaritan passing by the road was saved by putting the man who had been hit by the robber on his donkey, taking him to an inn, and taking good care of him.

In this story, several people appear to a man going down from Jerusalem to Jericho. There are some people you really shouldn't meet. Who are they? ... robbery.

A robber who steals other people's belongings as if they were mine, harasses people and harasses them is a person you should never meet in human life. It's a really unfortunate meeting. Everyone! I really hope that I will never meet such a person in this world.

2. There is a happy meeting.

The man who was hit by the robber was dying in agony, and many people passed by, but a good-natured Samaritan found him and took him to an inn, taking risks and sacrificing himself, to heal him and take care of him.

A good Samaritan was essential to the man who met this robber, and it was a useful meeting. As we live in this world today, we must have this kind of encounter.

There is a man named Helen Keller. He was an unfortunate man who had to live a painful life of threefold, with disabilities in his eyes, ears, and mouth. However, this Helen Keller met a teacher named Sullivan, whom he will never forget in his lifetime. If Helen Keller had not met his teacher, Sullivan, he might have given up on his life and led a useless life.

I may have been living a life that came and went for nothing. But when he met his lifelong mentor, Sullivan, his life began to change. Through the persistent efforts of Mr. Sullivan, we learn one letter of water in 7 years.

This was the beginning of change. After that, Helen Keller entered Harvard University, which is difficult for even normal people to enter. Not only did I get admission, but I got honors upon graduation.

What made him so great was the presence of his lifelong mentor, Sullivan. He confessed this in his later years. “I have been reading the Bible lovingly for 40 years. The Bible guides me like a shepherd's staff and keeps me from going wrong. We believe that only the Bible teaches people about salvation and saves them from darkness. To others, my path may seem dark, but I carry a mysterious light in my heart, a strong spiritual lamp of faith that illuminates my path.” “My life has been so beautiful.”

Anyone who has lived a great life must have a great teacher. When you meet a good person, your life will change. It is to lead a happy life, a rewarding life. The wanderings of life come to an end.

People with happy encounters can live life happily and happily, but if they live in unhappy encounters or encounters that are wrong and dissonant, they will live a miserable life amidst conflict and anguish. Everyone! I wish you a happy meeting in the name of the Lord.

3. There is a meeting that is essential in life, and the most important meeting.

In today's Bible, a man who has been blind from birth appears. He was born blind from birth. He had never seen this bright, beautiful world. But instead of thinking about this man's pain or suffering, the disciples said, "For whose sin is this man this way?" Who is being punished like this? Is it because of himself? Is it because of those parents? He said only words that made his aching heart hurt even more.

But when Jesus heard such a voice, he awakened his disciples and said that it was not because this man or his parents sinned, but because it was to reveal God's will through this man, and healed him so that they could open his eyes.

Everyone! Here we are introduced to a truly important person with whom we should meet. That person is Jesus, the Son of God who opened the eyes of the blind. Jesus is the true way, the truth, and the life of life. He is the only begotten Son of God who creates and claims the heavens and the earth. However, that Jesus gave up his heavenly glory and came down to this world to save our weak human beings and solve all the complicated problems of life.

That Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." When people who are struggling with the burden of life meet this Jesus, all problems will be solved and they will enjoy a “new and abundant life”.

While on this earth, Jesus was with the poor and marginalized, healed the sick, bound up the wounded, and comforted them. He is the One who gave all mankind a living hope by taking the place of all human transgressions and sins, dying on the cross, and then resurrecting on the third day. Therefore, the Bible emphasizes that if you believe in Him, He will give you the blessing of salvation.

All those who have personally met this Jesus in human history have a happy life without exception! I hope you all remember and believe that you have lived a rich and beautiful life.

Dear all! The Bible says “There was true light, a light to give to every man who came into the world…to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, not born of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. were born of them” (John 1:9-13).

I hope that all of you who are participating in this event today will believe that your life will be changed if you meet this Jesus Christ personally. You will enjoy the blessing of changing your destiny with worldly expressions, and changing your numbers.

The wandering of life ends when we meet God and Jesus, and the wandering of faith ends when we meet a good church. Let's all yearn for a happy life through a happy meeting. A happy life is guaranteed as long as we personally meet Jesus, who solves all life's problems and changes our lives.

There are also very ordinary and unusual encounters. Meetings like this are of no use. What can you expect from face-to-face encounters and passing encounters?

Personal encounter! Mind and heart must meet. The Bible says “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and sup with him, and he with me” (Revelation 3:20). Jesus wants to meet all of us and is still knocking on the door of our hearts. Open the door of your heart and meet Jesus. Everyone! I wish all of you God's grace and blessings.
