Title: Hate God/Romans 1:28-32

Contents

Most people feel very bad when I say something that points out the faults and depravity of the Korean church. Because they are selling the entire Korean church. For example, when people say, 'Today, the Korean church has become a group of shamans who claim to be blessed or a shaman', people's reaction to rejection is that the first is using too much terminology and the second is that they are slandering the entire Korean church. 'Of course, there are churches that fall into the faith of ups and downs while emphasizing the blessings in the Korean church, but there are still many churches who talk about the cross and want to focus on Jesus. Then they attacked by saying, 'Then you're right and your church is the only church?'. Even though he didn't say, 'Only my church is right and only my church is a church like the church', it's an attack on 'Is only you right?'

In other words, when pointing out the church's faults, rather than thinking about it while pondering the faults, it takes precedence over the reaction against the words that are attacking the entire church. However, when pointing out the church's faults, we point out through the Bible from God's point of view, not our own. The Bible clearly shows what God is pleased with and what God hates. If we point out the church through those words, God is clearly pointing it out through the mouths of those who have realized the gospel. However, because they cannot accept it as God's intellectual point, but accept it as human intelligence, they will be attacked by saying, 'How good are you?' In other words, they do not like to admit their mistakes and do not want to be criticized for their sins.

However, if you look at today's text, you will see that God is tying up all mankind and selling them. How do you say that people who do not like to have God in their hearts are living in the world? Full of iniquity, wickedness, greed, malice, envy, murder, strife, deceit, vicious, gossiper, slanderer, hater of God, slanderer, arrogant, boastful, It is said that people who plan evil, who disobey their parents, are foolish, treacherous, heartless, and ruthless.

However, when people respond to these words, their reaction is to find a way out of something. I do not want to be caught in the midst of those people whom God speaks of, so I compare each one to myself. Did I do something injustice or not? Am I full of malice or not? In this way, he compares each one to himself and begins to lower the score in his own way. And you are trying to get out of the class that God says deserves the death penalty. This is a natural thing from human nature, who hates to admit his own evil and filthiness.

This nature is also clearly shown when listening to the Word. When people reveal their wickedness through the Word and say that they are completely incompetent and unable to do good, resentment arises within people. When we say that we cannot do good, we are reminded of the good we have done so far, and on the basis of that good deed, we refute the statement that we cannot do good. If you have not done good, you will not be able to refute that you are evil, but you will realize that actions you thought were good become a sinner of a human being and appear as an obstacle to relying on the Lord.

Therefore, even when thinking about the parts that God said are unworthy, such as the ugliness of fire, when he thinks about himself, he resists saying, 'Of course, there are parts that apply to me, but aren't they all?' that will be written.

However, in today's text, God is not pointing out every single action we take. In other words, 'Why are you unrighteous, don't be unrighteous', 'Why are you full of greed, give up your greed', 'Why are you slandering, don't slander' This is not a word to urge you not to do this.

Verse 28 says, “They did not like to have God in their hearts.” In other words, the reason humans do things that are not worthy of God is because they hate having God in their hearts. In other words, because God does not exist in our hearts, we live as we please, and the things we see in the midst of living freely become unrighteous, ugly, and greedy. Therefore, the solution to everything is not to 'don't do this', but to rejoice in putting God in your heart. If there is injustice, ugliness, and greed that come from a heart that hates to keep God, as long as you put God in your heart, unrighteousness and ugliness will naturally disappear.

So, the purpose of today's text is not to list human sins by listing them individually, but to prove that people in the world live without God in their hearts. Therefore, even if you are a believer, you cannot say, 'God, this is the image of unbelievers, and I, as a believer, have nothing to do with these appearances'.

From the moment Adam eats the forbidden fruit and does not have God in his heart, but lives with his own success and dreams and hopes to become like God, humans are born as beings who do not want to have God in their hearts. No one is born who rejoices in having God in their heart. Having God in your heart means 'I can't live my own life'. It is not that I live my life according to my will, but that I should live my life according to God's will and pleasing to God. But who would live their life for a third person?

Therefore, we should not think that I am not unrighteous because I have not done anything unrighteous, but think about whether I am happy to have God in my heart. But after thinking about what it means to have God in my heart, instead of saying, 'I am delighted to have God in my heart,' only with spontaneous feelings and my own feelings, I can ask myself whether I am happy to have God in my heart or not. will have to look into it. God is not interested in our lives at all, only in fulfilling God's plan. If that God is in our hearts, eventually we should be more interested in God's will and God's work than in our own life. 'Even if my life is messed up, if God's work is done because of it, I rejoice in it.' Those who sincerely seek God with this kind of heart will be believers who want to put God in their heart. However, these humans do not exist in the first place. That is why God speaks of all human beings as unworthy before God.

Everyone in the world hates to have God in their hearts and tries to live their lives on their own. And God left them alone. It is said that this is the wrath of God. There is no greater wrath than this, to see you go to destruction. We, too, were living our lives as we wanted, leading to destruction. However, God did not leave us alone, He chose us and began to intervene. Said it was a blessing.

If we, who do not like to have God in our hearts, become those who confess, 'Because in this world, my life is okay, please come into my heart, intervene in me and lead me to heaven', how can we not say that this is a miracle? It is the work of the Holy Spirit and the grace of God. Those who know this grace, when they say, 'You are all evil', do not react by saying, 'Why are we all evil? We also did good things', but only confess, 'Yes, we are evil people who deserve to die'. There is not.

Those who read the text and say, 'I will not do this in the future' are those who do not have God in their hearts until the very end. It's about trying to do it on your own. If God wants to become such a person, it is nothing more than an evil idea of becoming such a human being. But ‘I am nothing but a human being who has no choice but to live like this. A believer who knows well that no matter how hard I try, I cannot get out of this place, will ask God for all his sins. It needs God. Because he knows his incompetence and wickedness, he cannot live as a believer even for a moment without God, so he only looks at God. This is the image of a believer who wants to have God in his heart. It is God's intention to make God's chosen people into such believers.

When humans do not like to have God in their heart, it means that their heart is already controlled by something. That is, they are under the control of the devil. However, since we are living unaware of this devil's power, if we say, 'You are falling for Satan,' you will become angry.

Humans have trouble because they try to solve problems on their own. But we have God. Worrying and worrying is because you do not have God in your heart. However, there is no need to worry about this, because the Holy Spirit will sustain us and make us believers who delight in having God in our hearts. I hope you will realize this grace and love of God and live a life that glorifies God.
