Title [1.4] Have a dream for God
take the content
(Genesis 28:11-22)
The goal of the church is to give dreams and hope through the bloodstained cross of Christ. That is why the church must proclaim dreams, visions, and hopes. But there is something we need to know. It is a fact that dreams must be refined. Not all dreams are dreams, and not all visions are visions. You must pay the price for your dreams thoroughly. In other words, you must study hard to achieve your studies, and you must have investment and strength to work hard for your business.
God's word to us today is that Jacob had a dream. Jacob's past dreams were dreamed in a very disgraceful, worldly way. This was a dream of stealing from others, and a dream of receiving others. This made him run away for the rest of his life. They had to go through a rough road in the wilderness. He suffered hardships, let alone blessings. But at this very moment, in a situation of spiritual stagnation, God came to us. At Bethel, Jacob's dream turned into a wonderful dream. God had come to Jacob, who was discouraged. As the ladder of human methods, materials, and greed that I planned was broken, God's ladder came. It was a wonderful dream that God had given me. God's dreams are not human thoughts. The dream that God gave you did not come when you were born well. I believe that the Lord comes to me and gives me grace when I confess that I am a sinner who lacks and is nothing. This is God's love.
God came to us when all human desires left us, and He came to us when the world abandoned us, and He gives us hope and dreams. The Lord loves us. And the Lord never forsakes us. A dream without a pillow is a dog dream. It's a futile dream. A dream without Jesus is a nightmare. We want our church to dream only with Jesus. So, I pray in the name of the Lord that the victory of faith will be in our lives as we live each year. Amen
