Title: He who has ears... (Rev 2:17)
Contents
① “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Holy Spirit says to the churches...” ② The words the Holy Spirit speaks to the regenerated believers who are the churches on earth are the words of God in the Old and New Testaments that give salvation. ③This is to perfect the saints as men of God and to do every good work, so that they may be glorified by all things forever (2 Timothy 3:15~17).
“Who is he who has ears?”
① A person who has an ear refers to a new person who has been regenerated by the truth and the Holy Spirit, having received the redemptive merits of grace and creation and re-creation. ② Those who can hear the words of God, “The words I speak to you, are spirit and are life” (John 6:63), “the words of eternal life” (John 6:68). ③ Therefore, the ear in the text is not referring to the physical ear, but to the “faith conscience” of the new person, that is, the person of faith. ④ A person’s conscience is created and built according to the knowledge that the person has as subject knowledge. A communist intellectual is the conscience of a communist, and a Buddhist scholar is the conscience of a Buddhist… The conscience formed and established by the knowledge of truth is the conscience of faith, so it is a complete and clean conscience without scars or blemishes. ⑥ Only those who have this conscience and use the ears of this conscience can hear the words of the Holy Spirit to the churches. ⑦ Faith and conscience is to know that life exists for God's sake and to know that the primary purpose of life is to please God and glorify Him.
“What is the life of those who have ears?”
① Those who have an ear use their conscience and live a life of faith and conscience. ② Those who have ears rejoice in the word of God, love, desire, and respect it, meditate on it day and night, understand the word of God, and live only according to the word of God. ③ Always have the Word of God, carefully contrast whether there is anything wrong or twisted in self-examination or management, and resolutely remove any obstacles to personify, materialize, and live the Word of God. ④ In all his life, he completely denies himself toward the Lord and does everything for himself, and does not think about himself, does not care about his own interests, but only thinks about God, and thinks about the gospel of God and his neighbor, no matter what he does. They do their best to bring glory to God, and they do their best to fulfill their duties and responsibilities sincerely and sincerely so that the light of the gospel is not obscured and the path of salvation of others is not blocked. ⑤ Live a life that always strives to sanctify the body through the word of God.
“Who is he who has no ears?”
①Those who do not have an ear are those who have been regenerated with unbelievers, but they do not use their faith and conscience but live their self-centered, flesh-centered, world-centered life, their ears of faith and conscience are blocked from hearing the words of the Holy Spirit to the churches. ② These people only listen to the words of the flesh and the world, not the words of God. ③ The word of God is the most difficult word in the world and also the most simple word. ④ Self-centeredness without self-denial, even the best scholar in the world is a closed document to those who do not have a conscience, and to those who deny themselves and have a conscience, it is a plain word that is completely open to those who are ignorant and incompetent. ⑤ Those who do not have an ear try to gather God, God's truth, and circumstance, fulfill their own desires, and benefit themselves for good. ⑥ Belief in Jesus is also used to fulfill one's own desires, and others are also used as objects of one's own desires. ⑦ Such a person will be trampled on all sides by the world with salt that has lost its taste, and only the streets of destruction will be built.
“Who is it that brightens the ear day by day?”
① We must find sins, transgressions, and disloyalty through daily prayer, repent, and cleanse the judgment of our faith and conscience. ② Always be self-rich, receive the word of God, receive the word, but be transformed and receive the sanctification of the body. ③ If you follow the Word in this way, your faith will gradually grow. As your faith grows, the ears of your conscience will become clearer, your eyes and your conscience will become clearer and brighter, so that God will receive more wisdom, knowledge, and power. ④ The ear of faith and conscience is the heart to please God by asking how I can please God, the heart to make the gospel of God shine through, and how I can benefit the salvation of others, so it is beneficial to the salvation of others. is the desire to give ⑤ If you continue to practice this heart and live, the ears of your faith and conscience will grow bigger and brighter. ⑥ God's spiritual and physical grace and blessings are in direct proportion to the hearing power of the ear of conscience.
