Title: Healing the Ten Leprosy
Bible: Luke: 17:11-19

1. It is important to know your existence.
1) You must realize that you are a sinner.
- This is a humble heart, a heart to serve, experience miracles and be saved.
<Luke 5:32> “I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
<1 John 1:8-9> “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. He will make us clean.”
2) You must know that you are a child of God.
Nevertheless, if you repent and accept Jesus, you must also believe that you are a child of God. <John 1:12> “To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.”
These ten lepers came to Jesus because they recognized that they were lepers. Miracles happen when you realize that you are a sinner and come to Jesus.
2. Sincere prayer is important.
They came to the Lord and cried out, “Jesus Teacher, have mercy on us!” and prayed. Prayer sometimes asks for help.
The reason I shouted out loud 1) Because I was too far away. 2) Because it was so desperate.
Prayer promised that even if you lift Mount Tai and drown in the sea, it will be the same. He promised to receive everything he asked for. So cry out and pray.
3. Obedience is important.
They all obeyed the words of Jesus. “Go and show yourselves to the priests” Based on <Leviticus 14:1-32>, if a leper has been cured, it must be shown to the priest, and after performing a purification ceremony, it must be acknowledged as clean. And you must offer sacrifices to God.
Therefore, while they were not yet cleansed, they obeyed the command to show them to the priest. Here we can see that we can obey only if we have faith.
Therefore, dear saints! Obey the words of Jesus in faith even though nothing has been accomplished at the moment. Then you will experience a wonderful miracle.
As they went, they were all cleansed.
4. It is important to have a heart that truly gives thanks to God.
They were cleansed while they went to see the priest. So how grateful are you? You must go according to the ordinances of Moses, show it to the priest, and receive the rite of purification. But where all nine went, they disappeared. But only one person came and gave thanks to Jesus. Of course, this one person would have gone to the priest next. And there would have been a ritual of purification.
Therefore, dear saints! Through the Lord, we have received amazing grace. But how many people really try to live with a grateful heart for the Lord? We must not forget this wonderful saving grace.
Soul saving--1 person would have their souls saved, but 9 people would not have received the grace of soul saving.
